List fails without Stewie Griffin.

I always hate lists like this that will include a currently popular character (like Dr. Horrible) when there are probably much better choices.

DammitIForgotMyLogin: Macgyver

Is Macgyver really an inventor? I see him more as a, "Holy shiat it worked for more than five seconds" kind of person.

May or may not have been the first to "invent a time-stopping device" but every time I see one now I think they ripped off Duck Tales.

/This was the first guy that came to mind for me. Was surprised he wasn't listed. But somehow, they found room for Jigsaw. Fail...

I'd like to see him get into an invention exchange with Dr. Horrible.

Roook: I'd like to see him get into an invention exchange with Dr. Horrible.

I'd throw down some serious cash to see that happen.

It's all Monopoly money, but still.

DammitIForgotMyLogin: Seaton was better ;)

Maybe as an inventor, but not as a fictional character.

Along with the other mentions so far, Arcot, Morey and Wade might be a little obscure; Arthur Morton McAndrew, less so.

Still, part credit for remembering Tom Swift, Junior in this day an age, even if they did forget his dad Tom Sr.

On the other hand, massive fail for leaving out Leonard of Quirm.
