Tourist? In Iran?

I'm thinking more along the lines of James Taylor.

You know what the Iranians say about the sunset? They say it has no memory. That's where I want to live the rest of my life. A warm place with no memory.

This guy should just take another shot of courage cause he'll just wonder why the words won't come and he'll just get numb...

You may only take pictures of a flock of seagulls in Iran.

I read 'white torture' as torture for white people.

I'm thinking a Young Money soundtrack over non-stop episodes of 'That's My Momma', Ludovico Style.

May the fleas of a thousand camels infest your crotch for putting that earworm in my head.

Why, this is horrible! They should never have released him. He should have been waterboarded for years, then finally indicted in a closed-courtroom proceeding while being represented by an attorney who has never gotten to speak to him, with the prosecution claiming lots of evidence but refusing to provide it to anyone under national security grounds. Obviously, we need to invade Iran and bring civilization to their justice system.

I remember one trip to Iran we took. This was 10 or so years ago, so I was still in high school. The mountains were so beautiful.

It's such a beautiful country. It makes me sad to think that it's been overrun with religious zelots.

Everybody knows, in Teheran it's better to go down to the Sunset Grill and watch the working girls go by.

A man was arrested in San Antonio a while back for taking pictures of cheerleaders at a football game. The DA admitted that the man had no criminal history and that all of his photos were G rated, but he was still convicted under our "Improper Photography" law.

Iran... Conservative America... not so different.

Ditto.

But right now if you hold a Western passport - even if (especially if, actually) you also hold an Iranian one - I would stay the hell out unless you were a) a journalist and willing to accept you might be held for no damn reason or b) visiting family, and if that's the case, get in and get out
