We had a six foot bong named "general sherman" we named it after the worlds largest tree, with the same name. Saw it on planet earth or something.

/on a funny note, it was the only smoking device of all 20 something that the cops didnt notice.

To quote Bart Simpson

"That's only 4 miles from my house!"

No, really, it is. Conningbrook lake, over the road from the Batchelors/Givaudan site (used to be Quest)

He wouldn't have to go. He'd send the journalists.

When a (false) report came that a couple of journalists had been drowned on a boat sunk making a run past Vicksburg, he responded "They must have been so full of weighty matter that they sunk at once. We can console ourselves in our grief that we can spare many such losses."

You've got to remember that in the Civil War, reporters would print everything from troop movements to plans and newspapers were not only sent down by sympathisers, they were a standard item of trade across the lines, along with coffee, tobacco, letters to family across the border, etc.
