I bought my 5 year old daughter a monarch butterfly 'kit'. came with a tank, little habitat-looking inside and a few catepillars who cocooned themselves and turned into butterflies. after a few days we took the little things outside to let them fly away into the wild. my daughter put the first one on a flower, it made its way to the top, and flew away.
about 8 seconds into its flight, a blue jay swooped down and ate it.

Meh. Video was fake. Everyone knows penguins will fall over backwards if something flies towards them and over their heads.
