That old hag is still sitting on that set every night?

Kramer's gotta be relieved.

I haven't watched Entertainment Tonight in years. I usually watch TMZ or The Soup now.

A convulsing Cosmo Kramer is quietly smiling with this news.

Does anybody watch that shiat anymore? Come on, it might have gotten some attention against any station not playing Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. Now...fark, does it even have an online presence? I thought TMZ had replaced it.

The last time I watched Entertainment Tonight, it was still being hosted by John Tesh.

2010-08-05 10:07:08 PM
when John Tesh left it went from being about the movies to being about the tabloid journalisam.

They should just kill the show now.

It used to be about movies? I've always known it as just about tabloid journalism.

Take a look at the very early years of ET. It was actually about in-depth interviews and dare I say, content.

Let the entire show "walk" and replace it with a test pattern or an informercial. In either case a huge improvement.

2010-08-05 10:15:55 PM
back in the 80s I thought she should be a hot porn star like ginger lynn, now...meh.

2010-08-05 10:19:51 PM
And John Tesh is doing the voice overs for Amway commercials now.

2010-08-05 10:22:21 PM
People still watch that show? Hell, I honestly thought it went off the air years ago.

2010-08-05 10:30:53 PM
The most annoying voice in all of tvland and the stupidest show hollywood infomercial ever created.

watchable!

There was another guy before Tesh and the show was actually quite good. Mary Hart was the original co-host and she wasn't as annoying back then. Somehow when it went in to tabloid journalism, she became the shrill she is today.

I'll trust you. I really don't feel like looking up the early years of Entertainment Tonight, but I'll take your word for it.

I can't tolerate ET or The Insider or whatever the hell makes up that wasteland of TV that comes on for an hour after the news. It's the only programming I feel compelled to go change the channel, even if I'm not in the room at the time.

She was always too perky for me and the show has ALWAYS been 'content-free'.

Tesh's radio isn't terrible...

There has never been a woman on ET who looked visibly human.

When I was a kid, she was the co-host of a local Oklahoma City talkshow. She was in OKC because her then husband was a triple A baseball player who was playing for the OKC franchise.

A couple of years into her tenure, it was announced that she would be leaving to become he co-host of the new primetime Regin Philbin talkshow (mid late 70s) which was going to be filmed in NYC. A week afterwards, her husband filed for divorce claiming that she was sleeping with one of the producers of the show and that she had deserted him and moved into her new lovers NYC abode. He won and that particular incarnation of the Regis Philbin show only lasted a few months. About a year or so later she showed up on the then newly launched E.T.

Good grief, she's got to be over 60 at this point.

Selfish biatch.

Anyone know why she had her legs insured in the first place? Seems silly considering her job entailed sitting behind a desk back in the early days of ET.

FTFA: Hart, who has been working for "ET" since 1982, said in a statement, "I only meant to be at 'ET' for three years, suddenly it's almost 30! I've reached a point when I clearly realize it's time for a change."

Yeah... she needs to change her Depends!

Because they were glorious, and they always made sure that they weren't hidden. $1 million a piece.
