Unfortunately, so many conservatives are hung up on "SOCALISM WAHH!!11! They've completely lost sight of the fact that their party has been hijacked by people that apart from lowering taxes, have no interest in preserving true conservative ideals.
If the conservative party actually reflected a decent semblance of what they are supposed to stand for I'd vote Republican in a heartbeat, in the mean time I anticipate on being a Disappointed Democrat™ for my lifetime.
