Well, they have been told that getting upset about it won't help.

Annoying. If you don't want our milk, we'll take it back. Then don't complain when you have no milk. Some cows worked hard to give you that milk. Ungrateful.

Wasting the product of a holy animal...doesn't seem very respectful...

I think that, in honor of their protest, we need to turn this into a boobie thread. Not cow-boobies or anything sick like that, but human female breasts everywhere.

Sorry. Your milk production has been outsourced.

They claim to be nationalist, but they don't give a flying upchuck about people in their country that need milk during the milk shortage. And they claim to be so spiritual and holy, but they do crimes just for a few more dollars or rupees. A Karma is going to run over your Dogma.

Lets waste a whole tanker full of food in one of the most poverty and hunger stricken countries. Makes total sense, yup.

Lets waste a whole tanker full of food in one of the most poverty and hunger stricken countries, while there's a shortage of that food because local producers couldn't meet the demand after a poor monsoon season.

/fairly certain that the imported milk from NZ is more expensive.

Shiv Sena are the Indian equivalent of baggers. IF nothing else can be biatched about, they would probably complain that the sun had spread sunlight on non-Maratha land, and that those places needed to be destroyed for tainting the sunlight .

I just don't get this. Hinduism is about peace and non-violence (ahimsa). It is about looking inward and the Supreme one being in evertyhing.

Anyone care to explain how the Sena get around the whole do no harm to others clause?

I know they have built up a lot of Mumbai and done great things but this seems crazy.

They should spend more time protesting the bridge construction in Vrindavan.

Because Hinduism is not about peace and non-violence. Some parts of Hinduism take that route - and Gandhi popularized this view in the modern era - but Hinduism is not about just gazing at your navel. For instance, one whole varna - the Kshatrya - are warriors; the religion specifically includes an entire swath of people who's required dharma is to fark other people up with extreme prejudice. The framework of the Bhagavad Gita is Arjuna not wanting to kill people and Krishna spending a whole lot of time explaining to him why the hell psychotic slaughter is best for his soul. THe Marathas, which is the group the Shiv Sena came from, built an rather large empire out of hacking you to pieces if you stood in their way. While never a universal practice, sutee involved (sometimes forcefully) burning a woman alive if she had the bad manners as to not die before her husband. The thugee cults liked to murder people. Would you like more?

Hinduism in no way advocates non-violence as the end-all and be-all of existence - some aspects of it may push towards that, but it is not a central tenet of the faith. In comparison, Mr. Jesus-man pretty much directly dictates Christians suck it up and get beaten to death if someone wants to beat them bloody, and yet Christians went out and forcibly conquered most of the world via premeditated unprovoked violence. What Shiv Sena advocates isn't right, but they are not breaking any tenet of their religion, unlike the Kill For Jesus bagger brigades in America, who's religion specifically tells them to not get all stabby.

Perhaps, altho NZ produces about 1/5 the amount of milk as the USA and has about 1/75 the population. So that is huge excess of dairy.

Hey, a Kiwi has to have something to fark when he tires of sheep

I guess all my posts with hotlinked images are being deleted.

Oh, well, it's not like they add much to the discussion anyways.
