That`s ok, Cage as Ghost Rider has no taste either.

It would be so sad if he just happened to have his head set on fire as a terrible movie filming accident.

I give this movie the bird. Your critique is invalid.

I have no opinion to offer on this utter, complete piece of shiat.

Forget the bees, that was the best Cage moment ever :D :D

The only, ONLY reason I would see this movie is if Eva Mendez also returns and does full-frontal.

I've heard that Nicolas Cage is so broke that he'll do any movie. If I were a Hollywood Director I would take advantage of this by putting him in really horrible movies which they are apparently doing right now.

Personally I'd cast him as the lead in something like "Hitler Goes to Camp" and bill it as a children's movie

I'll just leave this here...

/needs Ghost Rider equivalent
//can of petrol + box of matches + Nick Cage's head, would suffice

I like Nic Cage movies.

/There I said it.
//Also, really enjoyed Ghost Rider.

2010-07-30 08:39:24 AM
If they go with a darker movie could be worth it.

2010-07-30 08:44:04 AM
Just get a different director and I'll be happy. As much as I enjoyed Daredevil (Director's Cut), MSJ was NOT the right choice for this series.

Am I the only one that thought if they made a "prequel" Ghost Rider with the Horseman from the first movie, then that film would be totally kick-ass?

Have Nolan direct it.

//Please god, no 3d...

nic cage is awesome. it seems like he just does movies without caring if it will suck or not.

/eh doesn't afraid of bad movies?

Yeah, the cowboy Ghost Rider was the best part by far.

Nic Cage attempts career suicide with yet another turn as Ghost Rider; not the cowboy character from comic books' golden age, but rather the motorcycle hero. This formerly acclaimed actor now prefers ridin' around in a blue jump suit to blazing a way for his talents to be shown, like the stars in the universe that make more serious fare. Despite the recent spate of successes for comic book based cinema, America is killing its youth with this pablum that cannot be good for a developing mind. All the while, baby, he's screamin' away garbage lines like "How'd it get burned?" in less-than-impressive films.

"Yeah, the cowboy Ghost Rider was the best part by far."

Oh please, that cliched hack Elliot was the thing that made the 1st movie lame. Do some serious demon ass kicking and alternate planes of existance with Ghost Rider and leave the western schtick to movies like Jonah Hex and The Golden Compass.
We all saw how those turned out.

I really do think that Cage damaged himself doing "Leaving Las Vegas", and he can't allow himself to get involved in another movie that requires deep emotional involvement, so all he does now are silly popcorn flicks.

Also, this news made me want to do this (new window)...

I'll see it, if it's two hours of Eva Mendez walking around in tight leather. If not, fark off.

Didn't see the first one. Won't see the second one. The sound of his voice makes me cringe. Anytime he tries an accent, it makes me scream.

As good as it was, Con Air could have been SO much better with a different actor for Cameron Poe!

I assume it's one of those "spot the hidden theme" stunts, but I can't see a damned thing.

I, for one, will be seeing this movie. I enjoyed the first one. Don't get the hate

Hopefully this follows in the footsteps of Crank 2 by being infinitely better than the original.

patrick767: wtf? How does a sequel get made to a movie that almost no one saw?

The film made $229M at the box office, $115M Domestic Total Gross on a $110M production budget.

I liked the first one.
They should drop the PG-13 rating though.

I'll give this a shot for two reasons.

One, it's Nick Cage, and he did Bad Lieutenant not long ago, and that gives him a free pass still. So fark all of you.

Second, if it's being done by the makers of the Crank films, I could see it working. Really, these are the guys that made a sequel to a movie that ended with Jason Statham falling 10000 feet and surviving. If there's a pair of directors that'll go 'fark it, we got one shot, let's go full retard'... it's these guys.

Haven't seen Ghost Rider, don't care. Best thing Cage has ever done was Raising Arizona :D

See, the difference is that Jason Statham movies are way funny when you're drunk/high/etc.

I can't really imagine Ghost Rider to be that kind of movie.

Well nobody is gonna argue with that. Leaving Las Vegas was good too. Hell, that whole movie would have been worth it for Shue running down her price list.

The biggest problem with the last one was the director attached to this project. Seems like M. Night Shyamalan just finished a project, I wonder if the studio would consider him for Ghostrider 2?
