Fort Collins police said the man entered the Key Bank, 100 E. Drake Road, through the front door, approached a bank teller and demanded money.

The robber did not show a weapon or indicate to the teller he had a gun, said police.

He left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

I'm really in the wrong line of work.

Man no kidding!

That wasn't even "armed robbery". If they catch him, they won't have much to charge him with except larceny.

/facepalm

We really need to make this a trend. Everyone who commits crimes should be provided the most embarrassing and/or most humorous-about-his-appearance nickname just to shame them. If people know about the crime, they'll use it as the person's nickname forever and he will be reminded of how stupid he looked or how stupid he was.... that....one....time.

No mention of a weapon.

No note.

Just "Give me money", pretty much.

I just hope conservatively-dressed white men don't get stereotyped as bank robbers. We're not all criminals you know.

Honestly, it doesn't seem like such a bad name. It could have been the Murse Bandit, for example.

A couple years ago, a guy robbed a couple places in South East Calgary and was called the "Polite Bandit" because he said 'please', 'thank you', 'you're welcome' and was a well-mannered and timid person.

not to be ultra pedantic, but 'button down' refers to the collar, not the shirt

www.woodsofshropshire.co.uk

'button up' would refer to the shirt, to distinguish it from a t-shirt. So, let's all call him the button-up bandit, not the button down bandit.

The police probably had 27 8×10 color glossy pictures with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one explaining what each one was to be used as evidence against him.
