It's not some lameass Blacksploitation name. It's a mashup of two mink and fox association initialisms. Blackgama has been around since the early 80s and in other incarnations (with the same name) since at least the October 1968 issue of "Town and Country" which is the earliest magazine ad featuring the name "Blackgama" I can find.

and for those of you wondering. My uncle Daryl ran a trap line for many years. ALthough Blackglama certainly sounds like the album name of some lameass craprapper or some other SyFy like branding scheme, it is in fact a well established and respected fur ass.
