Okay, I'll personalize it. I used to take him seriously. Have had a harder and harder time over the last 18 months. This sort of thing doesn't help.

I have a hard time taking Obama seriously. I have an even harder time defending him when he does - what I consider to be - stupid shiat like going on the View.

Was Hasselbeck on? If so, it should have been her personal hell. She had to suck up to the President and betray her conservative fanbase. If she tried to say to his face what she usually farts, she'd be slapped down faster than you can say "tightass" and "ignorant".
