Eggs are...eggs, egg cells. Yolk is similar to a placenta but different, humans apparently have a yolk sac of some type as well. Placentas are mostly mammalian and I don't believe chicken eggs have them. I suppose placentas would taste like...some sort of highly nutritious extraneous organ.
