there were 20 different ways to handle this-
the first I would think would be to string up some damn tarps overhead. I just played last weekend and we had to tie up tarps on 3 sides of the covered outdoor stage due to wind and rain.

It bears repeating that the two opening bands finished their sets, bird poop and all.

I saw Kings of Leon a few years ago at the Roseland in Portland. If there was ever a "Meh" rock concert, it was that one.

Clearly the pigeons are smarter than the music industry fat cats and gullible pop-music audience.

For how much people were paying for tickets, KOL should have had the decency to finish like professionals.

I'm tired to death of frustrated musicians getting communication degrees, getting jobs at Rolling Stone and deciding that pulling out your dick in public and sticking a clothespin on it is the same thing as being "rock and roll".

i don't think he's an example of rock's extremism as much as he's a footnote in the history of performance art creeping into rock music.

His music can't be dismissed completely. It might be noise to lots of you, but how do you explain AllMusicGuide giving three of his records 4 1/2 stars?

After GG finally did the world a favor and died, I about wanted to vomit when, for years after, people would talk about him like he was some kind of important legend.

No, he wasn't. He wasn't even a disturbed circus sideshow freak. He was a scumbag of a human being; a total dirtbag in every conceivable way.
