Thanks for the welcome back ra-ra-raw. I'm still Farkin'- just that real life stuff has been creeping up and it'd been tough to find the time for proper 'shopping these past months. Farkin' real life- how does it work?

I remember him mentioning using After Effects to get some great animations. jonnya I wish you'd visit the PSAEF and share some tricks, I'm getting ready to try and bust open that program and it looks to be a very high learning curve. :)

Oh man-I love talkin' 'shop and AE. I'd be happy to share on the forum, it's just that the few times I visited it most of the threads seemed to be more whimsical than production specific. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I'll poke around the forum and if you have any AE/gif questions I'd be happy to field them to the best of my abilities! AE is some pretty powerful software, I'm 10 years in and still feel I have a ways to go. I could definitely recommend some books and online tutorials to get you started.
