What, like a Ford? Look I love Mike Rowe and would have his man-children, but there ain't no way I'm buying a damned Ford.

Seriously though, congrats. Discovery needs more stuff to fill in when they're not running Mythbuster and Deadliest Catch re-runs. I'll have in the DVR sched.

That's great man! Congrats.

Listen, as long as you have the ear of the Discovery bigwigs, see if you can pitch my idea for a show. It'll be a reality show where they follow me around the world while I visit bars, prostitutes and gambling establishments in different countries. I call it:

Please actually base your ideas off of, you know, SCIENCE. Don't be like the other guys on TV. Please?

Smash Lab particularly pissed me off, because I was expecting people who knew a thing or two about general physics/civil engineering, but apparently that was not happening...

Is this the beginning of a complete debunking of the sheeple filter on TV? We can only hope.

Back when you still had your Bad Astronomy site I became an avid follower. I want to see a show (1/2hr??) of you debunking movies too.

You were destined to bring astronomy to the masses. Too bad its the Discovery Channel - They are about as discovery as SYFY is science fiction but take what you can and it may lead to bigger and better things.
