I used to work in a lab with pure jasmone oil (which is incidentally quite a cool molecule). It smelled GREAT! Seriously though I would get a good whiff just for kicks on occasion.

I had a little vial of it growing up just for that. Well, I bought it when I was a kid and figured smelled nice = perfume. A bit strong for that... but so nice.

Rose water also kicks ass.

In my country a woman's mastery of her gastronomical releases is considered the ultimate aphrodisiac.

Er, I remember research that indicated Lavender was slightly less effective in lab tests than water was at calming human subjects, so I have to remain skeptical.

Rufus Lee King: optional: Rufus Lee King: Jaan Pehechaan Ho!

Approves.

"Ghost World" is playing on the TV to my left as I am typing. Every time Thora Birch comes on the screen, I do the same.

She was so hot in that movie. Scarlett Johanssen too.

Can't help but wonder how jasmine affects GABA itself. Maybe they mean GABA channels? Maybe they mean synthesis/breakdown of GABA? Too lazy to look up the actual studies... maybe they're just 6 years late reporting on this study? http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15388958 ?
