Drew: Is it really that many uniques in a week? Quickly checking /analog-stats/ I didn't see any uniques counter.

I mean, I gotta think there's a large group of us who are constantly hitting refresh on the comment threads or forum, upping the requests per day. Any chance you also have a record of who's requested the page the most (individual, not domain)?

From /analog-stats/ (just to throw stuff at people):

Week total:
30/Sep/01: 1076318

Day totals:
30/Sep/01: 109521
1/Oct/01: 164086
2/Oct/01: 165657
3/Oct/01: 173523
4/Oct/01: 183438
5/Oct/01: 165149
6/Oct/01: 114944

I love Drudge its fantastic. My stats say I get 1200 uniques a day which is bs so I dunno about this. But he deserves it.

what does it mean that drudge is an 'ad domain'?

They are counting the amount of unique ads he serves i think when they say 500,000 uniques so thats not true uniques.

His site is constantly getting plugs on radio shows across the country and his own thats on almost 200 stations so when you get that then your numbers will soar. :)

He hits 2.8-3.1 million regular unquies everyday with his server's logs. Yep's free service (hitbox) can't even handle his traffic so they give bad stats.

Hrm he gets .76% of the internet audience with 500,000 , fark has 125,000 therefore fark has .19% of the internet audince. Thats farkin huge.

On an unrelated note, anyone know what the deal is with this picture? It's been on the "most emailed" list at Yahoo for the last week now. But WHY?!?

"Within hours of the hijackings, crashes and collapses, Drudge posted links to stories suggesting that Osama bin Laden was in house arrest in Afghanistan. Not long after, he posted another link to a story that insisted that the wanted man had fled Afghanistan."

Whattya mean you don't understand why people keep reading the DrudgeReport? It's obviously for the reliable stories.
