Of course we've hoped for it all year... this just means that there is one less shiatty New Hampshire race on the schedule for the rest of the season!

About time there's some decent racing on. NASCAR fans, tune in to see what a race looks like where there are left AND right turns, and teams don't have to bring in ringers.

last week, 40 of 43 were regulars, making left and right turns. As opposed to the 20 who started the GP today. Those numbers are good enough for me.

I was joking/trolling. That was a bit of personal revenge for mikaloyd trolling the soccer threads earlier.

I had meant to do it for last week's race, where I could have gone full-bore F1 retard, but I got drunk and forgot. Between that and mikaloyd not being here today, it's not worth a full-bore effort. But I told him I was gonna do it, and I try and be a man of my word.

I can just imagine some forty something psuedo-hipster PR guy at New Hampshire when he found out that Foghat was playing a 25 yr class reunion nearby this weekend "Dude, we need to hire them to play the National Anthem. I saw them in concert. I was so totally stoned but they rocked. This would be huge!!!"

now i remember why i hate NASCAR on TNT - 5 min of commercials for every 3 minutes of racing.

Bah, at least they got rid of that dickhead Webber. I remember reading a few months back that he was working as an illusionist in some Florida hotel.

Nice career move, dumbass

It annoys me that they cut to any commercials during a race. Do the split screen thing like they did with the Indy 500.

Unfortunately I have to work today. I've had the last few days off to attend my father's funeral. He was as big a NASCAR fan as anybody. So if Dale Jr. wins today, and/or there's a bizzare accident involving Kyle Busch, Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon all colliding into each other and getting their cars stuck together, assume that's my dad's doings.

In short, TKat's idols may have some backup from upon high.

They thought about it, but they needed the WAAAHmbulance when they ran it by the sponsors.

I stand by my theory that the way Johnson was handed the race last week is what killed him. Hell, I'm in fine health, and that f*cking thing put me in a rage-coma.

If NASCAR wants to look more legit, they need to put an end to Start And Park. It's crap, pure and simple.

and don't get me started on guaranteed starters. even worse!

And what's the deal with airline food?
