Make a law for this to be legal to do against farkers who have to run their bass through the neighborhood.

It's not the music and thump that bother me (though now that I live in LA, I sometimes wonder if it's a quake), it's the rattle and distortion from the idiots who don't bother to insulate their vehicles, or who think that volume is important. Seriously, if that shiat sounds like static and it rattles louder than the bass carries, turn that crap down. It makes you look like a deaf idiot and people are laughing at you.

Love it...it's bad enough that people use them at the stadium, but at HOME? Proof the rest of the world has gone nuts

A French cable TV channel even offers vuvuzela-free broadcasts for all World Cup matches, with the trumpets digitally tuned out.

Why the hell aren't the American broadcasts doing this? You'd think it'd be a great way to get a bump in the ratings for the next game.

I love it when they have like a Lincoln Towncar or some Mercury car that they low ride by cutting springs, all tilted up in the front because of the massive speakers/woofer in the back, and every time the bass booms you don't actually hear it properly because the vibration is so bad what you are actually hearing is the taped together pieces of the car rumbling together. It's an awesome sight to behold.

That is one of the best lines ever drafted. The article calls attention to the complexities of foreign relations, then continually references the same with every line. Bravo.

Ok that just tears it. I almost could understand if culturally they've been blowing those god-awful things for decades now. That shiat is less than 10 years old? They act like this shiat is ingrained in their culture, as if you couldn't possibly go in and tell them to put down something so important to the fiber of their identity.

What a crock of shiat. I'm not holding back on the hate anymore, I hope those people all go deaf.

Some asshats showed up to a Roller Derby bout last weekend with some of those... That shiat lasted about two minutes before the crowd put an end to it.

I don't remember seeing them in their hands as they left, so hopefully the crowd 'holstered' those damn horns for them. Preferably big end first.

hershmire: News: Vuvuzelas are annoying and people are annoyed by them.

That is definitely not news. That's why there are so many damn vuvuzela threads.

I swear today the Brazilians started tooting in synchrony. The pitch goes up at the beginning when the tooter is tooting harder, so it was like a whole new song for the vuvuzela. And it was still annoying.
