I think the only way Bennifer, Inc. could be more overexposed is if they actually rent out the moon and broadcast their faces onto it.

2003-05-28 11:11:42 AM
The move comes nearly five years after his fiance Jennifer Lopez had a contract with L'Oreal.

Girlfriend's getting old....

Ooh, cattypants.

Ben isn't cute so I'm not sure why they'd choose him to sell beauty anyway.

Ben embodies a new generation of men who show their strength in their personality but are not afraid to care for their appearance.

A bit understated. I looked up "vanity" in the dictionary, and there was a picture of Ben, toupee and all.

A L'Oreal spokesperson told Hello! magazine: "Ben embodies a new generation of men who show their strength in their personality but are not afraid to care for their appearance."

My, my, the strides Gay Pride has made in only one generation...

2003-05-28 02:45:32 PM
I'm not afraid to care for my appearance.

I'm a bit afraid of my appearance.

Big difference.

2003-05-28 02:52:06 PM
Is it just me or does it sound like Ben is kitty licked...

2003-05-28 02:52:08 PM
The only way Ben Affleck could redeem himself now, is to bludgeon J Ho to death.

2003-05-28 02:52:35 PM
I would have thought the sponsor would have been Hair Club for Men....

I'll give them one thing, these people sure do know how to write a line of bullshiat.

/mallrats

2003-05-28 02:58:16 PM
I can hear the commercials now:

"I color what's left of my hair with L'Oreal. Because I am JUST so worth it, girlfriend!"

2003-05-28 02:58:45 PM
Is he going to go on heroin and lose another thirty pounds over his already-slim build, or is he not ready for the full supermodel treatment?

2003-05-28 03:00:38 PM
Ben Affleck - house pet.

Puckhead, I do not believe truer words have ever been spoken on fark. And see that's the thing - Affleck could've had himself a nice chick. He was handsome, made fairly good films, did promotional things with beer; I mean hell he's about as close to perfect as they come. But no, he's gotta shack up with some wanna be farking drag queen and start buying her incredibly self-centered and high maintenence ass pink diamonds and jewel encrusted toliet seats. WTF?? You could had me Ben, you coulda had me!!

2003-05-28 03:00:40 PM
I'm so over Ben and J-ho. I wish they would go away!

2003-05-28 03:02:22 PM
The actor has scored a $1.5 million plus deal to promote men's grooming products for the beauty firm.
that's pretty dang cheap for ben. couldn't loreal cough up some more dough. he spent more than that on j-ho's ring.

2003-05-28 03:02:26 PM
Affleck? I thought it was some insurance sold by a duck. Who knew!

2003-05-28 03:02:59 PM

Ben asshat Affleck

2003-05-28 03:03:36 PM
or just for men haircolor, Bass555. clariol just came out with some hair color product for men. and i guess l'oreal must be jumping on the bandwagon too.

2003-05-28 03:04:19 PM
now there's a guy who needs some more exposure.

isn't the money a little low for a guy like him? or does he just want to be seen as a vain, shallow narcissist?

2003-05-28 03:04:20 PM
I used to like ben till he took up w/jho. Now I'm into Matt MacConauhey, naked, bongo playing, burnout. What a guy!

2003-05-28 03:05:02 PM
Ben Awfleck is the biggest self-mockery going.

If he was gay, you'd think he could act.

2003-05-28 03:06:19 PM
*lol* CandyPants - he'll never know what was behind door number 2.
he was FAR better off as Matt's side-kick.

2003-05-28 03:07:15 PM
Missygirl: I'll have to check him out. I haven't even seen the movie yet but I'm told it's hysterical.

2003-05-28 03:07:53 PM
Ben embodies a new generation of men who show their strength in their personality but are not afraid to care for their appearance.

I know nothing of Affleck's personality. He embodies a pretty boy whose films tank, yet continues to get work.

And strength? The man turned to butter over one oversized booty.

2003-05-28 03:08:31 PM
Ben Affleck -- superpoo

/feeling juvie (not a hilary duff ref.)

2003-05-28 03:09:12 PM
Sure, it's an unpopular opinion, but I gotta admit, I like the boy. ANYBODY would have been a bad actor in some of the shiat he's been in (Armageddon, Reindeer Games, that unbearable POS with Sandra Bullock, for starters). But you look at the work he's done in Kev's movies (okay, mostly Mallrats and Dogma), and there's hope there. The 'I love you' scene in the jeep in the rain? Awesome. The parking garage scene in Dogma? Amazing. I'm looking forward to Gigli, and I don't care who knows it.

2003-05-28 03:09:36 PM
Hopefully it'll do as well as Daredevil.
