They don't need a comeback. They've been here all along, just biding their time...

The best part about cliche's is you can't see them coming, you're just suddenly realizing you're dealing with a cliche. They come and go and you can never predict where or when they'll strike. For instance, this post is now a cliche.

No, they've become tired and pointless since every stupid internet poster posts stuff like OMG NINJAZZ!! And they become the butt of EVERY SINGLE farkING JOKE...like anything involving ninja's suddenly makes it awesome.

No, it doesn't. Not even this post.

Seeing how Hollywood loves remakes now, they should just remake the American Ninja movies but this time make them not suck.

I want the dude that made the recent batman movies to make one about the teenage mutant ninja turtles. I liked the first one that came out about 20 years ago, but the follow-ups were clearly geared toward kids, and simply weren't good movies. A darker movie that changes them from the quirky, playful type they were to absolute ass-kicking badasses would be just about the most awesome thing ever.

There it is.

Ninjitsu is the worst possible fighting technique for actual combat. Sneaking around and slicing throats may be its specialty, but if the opponent is aware of the ninja the odds swing in the other direction.

To top it off, there has never been an MMA champion trained in this major martial art. Kind of like Aikido, but stupider.

Not sure this is an improvement, as neither ninjas nor pirates were front line fighters...

Don't call it a comeback
Ninjas been here for years
Killing their peers and puttin pirates in fear
Makin the tears rain down like a MON-soon
Listen to the black powder go BOOM
Explosion, overpowerin
Over the competition, they're towerin
Wreckin shop, when they throw these stars that'll make you call the cops
Don't you dare stare, you betta move
Don't ever compare
Ninjas to the rest that'll all get sliced and diced
Competition's payin the price

Ninjas gonna knock you out (HUUUH!!!)
Ninjas said knock you out (HUUUH!!!)

Just sick of hearing the same material over and over around here concerning remakes and reboots. If a remake/reboot sucks, it says nothing about the nature of remakes/reboots that's any different from any other kind of movie. It doesn't warrant casting the whole "genre" (I don't know what to call it) in a bad light. There are crappy movies in every category of film. Sure, you can cast aspersions on Hollywood for not being able to come up with original stories, but they've been doing this (minus the reboots) for decades. Get over it.

In rasslin' circles, a "Ninja-style attack" is defined as one where several heels politely wait and attack the face one at a time, so that the face has the opportunity to beat everybody up.

Ninja Assassin was pretty badass, I watched it this past weekend. Very graphic violence, good fight scenes. What you can see of them at least. Everything very fast and shadowed, swords winking in and out of existance in the darkness. Would rent again.

And by then.... it is far, far too late.
