I once saw this really, REALLY obscure image of the leader of NK amidst the type, "North Korea is best Korea". I'm sure no one else has ever seen it, nor is it easily found on the intratubes - but rest assured, I did see it once. Then an iguana popped out.

Yes, because a shooting war that will kill thousands of Korean civilians would be just the best thing EVER!

So we're expecting a hoard of roughly 125,000 station wagons to trudge through the DMZ?

Has the UN asked how high the North Koreans want them to jump?

2010-06-15 01:28:59 PM
I bet it really bothers them that the current General Secretary of the UN is a South Korean.

Now who is BEST KOREA??? KEKEKEKEKEKE

I'm not expecting a lot of those 1 million to show up. The conscripts really aren't motivated to die for crazy old Dear Leader. The elite units are well trained enough to realize the level of ass kicking they'd receive and aren't exactly in a hurry to line up for said ass kicking.

North Korea is a lot more in the fire missiles and artillery at South Korean population centers, then go hide in their bunkers before the counter battery fire reaches them mode here.

NK has "1 million men", South Korea has 600,000 under arms and most of their male population trained due to mandatory service. Even with 1 million, I don't see how NK wins in a land war, unless the Chinese send troops.

Maybe it's "Breaking News" to Breitbart... he's been a little busy lately sending college kids to harass Congressmen and video tape it.

Well it would teach them to stop crossing lines drawn in the sand right quick. Sanctions can't teach that.

The occasional bloody nose or complete sacking of their entire infrastructure is good for a country.

Cool. I'll keep an eye out :) Usually they just replace the original article but this is a result of newer news systems that allow remote article creation I bet. I have to sit through another demo of one tomorrow :/

Well actually China's reaction to the sinking of the Cheonan helped America. Various Asian countries went "Hey China, your puppet state is acting up again." China basically went "Yeah, they do that from time to time." No public support for South Korea or a push to smack North Korea down. This led to countries like Japan and South Korea going "You know what? We love the American military. Really we love you guys."

Other countries, like Malaysia for example, have also started to see China as a bit of a scary power locally and buddy up to the US.

China of course saw all this going down and the new rumor is that China has agreed to let the UN sanction North Korea. Basically China won't veto anything in the Security Council. I don't know if they'll vote for it, abstain or what, but they won't veto or so people are claiming. Right after that North Korea dialed the outrage up a notch and has been screaming since.

I'm rooting for North Korea to win the World Cup, I think it would be hilarious if they did.

I doubt it. They don't want this shiat going down in their back yard.
