Don't you hate it when that happens?
2003-05-27 04:33:15 PM
I don't know I find it makes the day go by quicker.
2003-05-27 05:04:49 PM
What's worse being in a hatchet rampaged office where you know the guy or one where he has the wrong building?
2003-05-27 05:10:44 PM
"My bad."
2003-05-27 05:38:12 PM
Am I the only one who found the picture included in the article amusing?
2003-05-27 05:43:57 PM
I hate living here. If it's not snipers living here, it's confused hatchet-wielding maniacs. No wonder our police chief couldn't take it anymore.
2003-05-27 07:51:28 PM
Any one else notice the guy didn't say "oops wrong office."

It was infact the correct office the guy he was looking for just didn't work there anymore?
2003-05-27 08:03:53 PM
Have you seen my stapler?
2003-05-27 09:51:19 PM
What is with that picture?
2003-05-27 09:51:55 PM
no casualties. move along.

2003-05-27 09:52:21 PM
Maybe if he had been drunk, his judgement would have been better.
2003-05-27 09:54:44 PM
This kind of thing happens to me every week.
2003-05-27 09:54:46 PM
What is the world coming to when a man rampages through an office with a hatchet and doesn't even cause any injuries?
Where's the sense of pride?
Where's the sense of duty?
Where's the sense of bloody well finishing what you started?

People now-a-days always leaving these jobs have done...

/so disapointed in people these days
2003-05-27 09:55:34 PM
He went on a rampage due to something (I assume) awry in his relationship with his lawyer. This resulted in him in a situation (arrested) where he needs a lawyer. I hope his kissing-up skills are well honed.

That's the best graphic accompanying a news article I've ever seen.
2003-05-27 09:56:46 PM

2003-05-27 09:57:19 PM

2003-05-27 09:57:20 PM
I heard he was looking for a good b00bies link.
2003-05-27 09:58:02 PM
Errrr... half done, not have done

Seems I don't take pride in my work either.

2003-05-27 09:58:20 PM
Castration is the only answer here. It'll punish him, and keep him from polluting the gene pool.
2003-05-27 09:59:06 PM
He's really gonna hate the guy when jailarity ensues and he gets to spend lots of time fondly remembering the office he wanted to destroy.
2003-05-27 09:59:48 PM
Come on. Who hasn't done this?
2003-05-27 09:59:49 PM
He must be a farker. No boobies in a week will do that to a guy!
2003-05-27 10:01:10 PM
You'd think if you were going to run in wielding a hatchet you could take two seconds to examine the name on the door...or at least look for the guy so he gets to see you in all your crazy glory.
*wishes a maniac would storm into my office to relieve some of this boredom.
2003-05-27 10:02:54 PM
how was it the wrong office? he was pissed at a lawyer who used to work there.. it wasnt like "oops i meant to go to the office next door!"
2003-05-27 10:02:55 PM
Someone took the phrase "hatchet man" a bit too literally...

This guy has some competition.
2003-05-27 10:05:30 PM
I always get scared when I see the shadow of an arm holding a hatchet up. Brrrr!!!!
2003-05-27 10:07:32 PM
Perhaps the ratio of cake to people was too big?
2003-05-27 10:08:47 PM
It's amazing what the smell in Tacoma will do to people.
2003-05-27 10:09:06 PM
AHH - good, sweet, clean rampage

2003-05-27 10:10:05 PM
He breaks into an office with people working who see him...

He wields a hatchet with a bunch of people seeing him...

He leaves the office and now he's a SUSPECT...

2003-05-27 10:10:28 PM
Must've found out his boss found out about 'The Club'.
2003-05-27 10:12:54 PM
For some reason, I thought of this old Onion article...

Should have just burned down the building...

I've noticed a lot of headlines lately are downright incorrect. Fark users like to say "Don't take it so seriously! What do you expect?" But making unfunny articles try to seem funny by including incorrect headlines is a waste of time for the reader.

Luckily this article had a redeeming picture.
2003-05-27 10:15:02 PM
what a waste of a good hatchet.
2003-05-27 10:15:07 PM
I can relate, I think I inadvertantlty got axed.

Sorry mods, it aint me, it's the alcohol, drugs and religion.
2003-05-27 10:15:13 PM

Police arrested the man after he broke out a window and climbed onto the building's roof.

2003-05-27 10:17:57 PM
at the defense of the headline writer, even the original article had the wrong title.

Anyway, people are too paranoid now. Even when the headline is accurate there is always someone to say the headline is not. (I'm not talking about this thread, but take the Peta one for exemple. It was correct, just more subtle).
2003-05-27 10:18:27 PM
Mia_to_slit -- yipes.

And, I've never felt "too" athleticoontil now. Aie.
2003-05-27 10:18:29 PM

Yep, he's a suspect until PROVEN guilty!
2003-05-27 10:20:19 PM
What did you wanted them to do, shot him??? I still don't see your point about America!
2003-05-27 10:25:34 PM
Technically it was the wrong office. He was looking for the office of the lawyer that used to work there. Just as your office can change location so too does the targeted lawyer's. Therefore while in the right location he was not in the correct office.

"Heeeeeerrre's Johnny!"
2003-05-27 10:32:02 PM
I could have told you the guy doesn't work here any more .... you should have just axed me.
2003-05-27 10:35:40 PM
i think anyone who rampages an office with a non-traditional weapon like a hatchet or a curling iron should be allowed to go free. I'm just tired of reading about shooting sprees...where's the sport in that?
2003-05-27 10:39:04 PM
So this isn't the Latex company???

oh... across the street ok ok

...hmm welll...could you empty your wallets anyways

JACKPOT!....i gotta do this more often!
2003-05-27 10:40:05 PM
Two words... call ahead...
2003-05-27 10:40:44 PM
