You will be like Lindros, out of commission and having your father talk for you.
2001-10-05 11:04:57 AM
Go Bruins

Couldn't find a picture. Didn't look very hard though.
2001-10-05 11:06:55 AM

Lindros is a glass-jawed cry baby piece of shiat that plays for the Rangers.

Gotta love the hockey...

How bout this old one, "was at a fight the other night, and a hockey game broke out." Anyone see anything funny about a P. Coffey talking about fighting? This shoud have been on The Toque.

I WILL NOT stand by and listen to people make fun of hocket.

I WILL however stand by and listen to people make fun of the Flyers.
2001-10-05 11:50:51 AM
I also WILL allow people to make fun of my spelling.
2001-10-05 11:54:18 AM
we shouldn't have to make fun of the Cryers.
2001-10-05 11:55:55 AM
Thank god there's still a sport for middle sized white boys.

After we take out Bin Laden I say we take out Jeremy Jacobs, Harry Sinden and Mike O'Connell. They SUCK.

Ah the ye-olde occasional hockey post on FaRk.

Fb - I'm dying of laughter - thats the best Photoshop yet, disturbing for us Rangers fans though

It's not my fault my team is a money slinging bunch of cripples - but I stand proudly BY!!!!

My season prediction: Wings will take it over the Flyers in 6.
2001-10-05 12:22:04 PM
AcYd: Good prediction. Also good to know that I'm not the only Rangers fan here. :)
2001-10-05 01:13:37 PM
Time to put on the foil!! Go Caps.
2001-10-05 01:33:57 PM
Always, always remember;
Jesus saves
But Lemuiex puts in the rebound!!

Go Pens!!
2001-10-05 02:13:16 PM
I've never been a Red Wings fan beforem but now that they have Hasek, all that may change. . .
2001-10-05 03:00:12 PM
How do you people be fans of players and not teams - what just follow someone around the league ?

The only players you can make a case like that for are the legends: Gretzky, Lemieux, Bourque maybe a few more.

The Wings bandwagon will be overloaded this year....
2001-10-05 03:33:36 PM
AcYdRIP69: Sacrilege!! Putting anyone in Lemuiex's class. Ugh. Some people....
2001-10-05 04:01:34 PM
LDMF: No kidding, Gretzky and Bourque are at least one step above him. :)
2001-10-05 04:05:40 PM
Always been a Wings fan myself, but I can definately see many many more on the band wagon this year... Probably the only team that thinks if they don't win the cup, they've had a bad year...
2001-10-05 04:10:04 PM
Bin Laden is a 160-pound weener who walks with a cane. I doubt he could stand on skates.

Check the FBI site if you don't believe me.
2001-10-05 05:14:07 PM
I'm always shocked when the Wings reload this. Hasek, Hull, and Robotille sp? those are all hall of fame guys and they pick up all 3 in one year?

I bet its all about getting to see Anna Kournikova boobies at team functions though. I'd take less money for that 'perk'
2001-10-05 05:18:40 PM
2001-10-05 05:23:08 PM
LDMF: Gretzky doesn't deserve to be in Lemieux's class???????

Get your shiat straight. Just because you love a team doesn't make all it's players automatically superior.

Gretz was better in his 80's Oiler days than Lemieux was on the early 90's Pens.

Although if he'd stayed healthy he might have come close to Gretzky's production
2001-10-05 05:30:47 PM
Looks like I 'picked' a good year to win the right at my company to buy last row tickets to a Red Wings game. Only $42 per ticket. Then again, that's cheaper than going to the Hockey Hall of Fame in a few years to see essentially the same players.
2001-10-05 05:31:54 PM
AcYd: Or if he'd been born about 5 years earlier. There's no question that Lemieux's biggest advantage over Gretzky - his size - came in handy as the NHL started to turn to more of a low scoring game. Gretzky could skate his way around guys in a heartbeat, but Lemieux at his best could plow through 'em.

BUT, that said, I don't think he had quite as good a shot, and nowhere NEAR the passing skills of Gretzky.

Slippy: my point exactly
