There needs to be a way to differentiate people with this disorder from other people who are similarly of minimal stature but do not suffer from the same disorder.

We could call them dwarfs, since they suffer from dwarfism.

But something tells me these midgets wouldn't like that.

Dwarfism is for someone with disproportionate limbs, while midget is for someone with proportionate limbs. They have actual meanings. Little person is a stupid PR BS.

Sure. Remember when Jersey Shore came out and NJ and the Italian American groups were up in arms? Of course, when the show brought more money to the Shore, suspiciously those complaints disappeared....
