I love how an 8-year-old had more sense than the boy's mother. Maybe he should be granted custody of the 5-year-old.

Too bad a 4 year old girl fell off a cruise ship and drown so she could meet Spongebob.

Andrew Gentile struggled, though, because the lake was six feet deep there, and his feet couldn't touch bottom. He splashed and struggled, prompting his mother to jump in, but she too couldn't feel the lake's floor and panicked.

That mother is an idiot.

Sometimes I think swimming should be a mandatory class in grade school to avoid problems like this, then I think that people like this should probably drown, then I realize that they usually don't.

it's even more tragic you had to show up and be such a douche instead of appreciating what one kid did.
that little boy is a hero in my mind

Typical. Jews have all the money and the Gentiles can barely keep their heads above water.

Shirley Gentile, during an interview at the Ronceray house Wednesday, said she thought the water was shallow where she allowed Andrew to enter the water to get to shore, only six feet away.

Jump out of a boat six feet from shore and drown? He's 5, pull him back in the boat. What the hell was going on here?

Big deal. I save kids from drowning all the time. You pretty much have to when you enjoy throwing kids in lakes or you get in trouble with the police.

I don;t see in there article where the mother was arrested and/or lost custody. Did they forget something?

Wait, this is in New Jersey? never mind, I didn't know the mother was legally retarded.

I'm confused. Why would a sponge have a problem with drowning? Doesn't he live UNDER water?

/never seen the show more than in passing.

If a mistake justifies a mother losing her kid... every American child would be in custody of DCS.. Like DCS would be better for him.

She is an idiot but does not disserve to lose her kid...

A mistake that would have left a dead child if not for a random kid who had to come in and rescue? Sounds a bit like child endangerment, may have even been on purpose.

Telling your child to jump into unknown water and then not being able to assist if there is a problem, makes not not only a bad parent but a poor human being. Losing the kid would be the kindest form of punishment, a lynch mob would be more acceptable.

If you are incapable of caring for or raising another human being then don't, the rule is simple.

If that could only be enforced we would all be better off... But it cant won't ever be, due to PC. Someone would be offended and discrimination cries from every where would pour out to let the idiots of this world breed.
