BMoreBeowulf: If they stay healthy, they should dominate the AFC North this year. Seeing what Flacco can do with Boldin, Mason, Stallworth, Rice, Heap, Dickson, Pitta, and McGahee is gonna make for some exciting TV.

plus with Rapey Ben being out for 4 games, the Edgar Allans will have a great chance to dominate the division.

as for Boldin....i hated to see him go but it was time. he clearly didn't want to be here, he had market value.....i'm gonna hate seeing him in purple and black but i wonder how much he has left in the tank. he plays so hard he costs himself 2-4 games a season. hated to see the cat go but it is what it is, as they say.

*or as Simeon Rice once said, "it is what it is, but sometimes it is what it isn't, but we are who are are, and that's what it's all about."

NaziKamikaze: There really needs to be a pic of the straight jacket guy yelling "Cowboys Cowboys Cowboys!"

I know most are joking...but it's just pathetic how much time and energy (obviously bereft of thought) people put into hating a team from a game.

/That said, your team sucks.

My point exactly (except for the 'sucks' part)...Cowboys just dominate.

Here's to hoping my cousin Stephen McGee gets alot of snaps in the pre-season games.

The sucks part was just a joke/part of the meme. I just really enjoy watching all of football but have been a moderate fan of the Boys since I was kid.

Also the dominate point you made...yeah, for the most part. Except when it really counts... :(

26th seems about right for the 'Skins

Although with McNabb &, Larry Johnson they have a shot at the 2006 NFC title!

They've got five pre-season games this year, so we should get to see quite a bit of all the young players this pre-season.

Nabb1: You'd think that would be enough to at least be the highest ranked team in the division. Seriously, the Falcons?

Well, no one wins the NFC South in consecutive years.

Isn't the NFC South traditionally the Worst-to-First division?

The Chargers should not be ranked #1 and I'm a Charger fan. They really should not be ranked #1 if VJ and McNeil sit out this season.

Yes. That would put the Bucaneers as front runners, but I don't think they'll get things turned around that fast.

I can't decide if my favorite part is where they have the Saints ranked 5th at the end of the regular season or that spectacular nose dive by the Giants (pops). Decisions, decisions....

Nabb1: downstairs: Lets see, the Saints won the Super Bowl and didn't lose anyone substantial during the offseason. And they're ranked 8th? Below the Falcons? Ha!

Just because they won it all doesn't mean you have to rank them #1, sure. But 8th?

You'd think that would be enough to at least be the highest ranked team in the division. Seriously, the Falcons?

Yeah, i'm a little miffed about that one as well.

Then again, who the hell decided preseason rankings were even worth a flip in the pros? Hell, they ain't worth shiat in college either!

I hear that. That's why I've managed to chain my fortunes to college baseball and hockey during the offseason. My college team is eliminated after a gutsy performance in the SEC tournament, and my hockey team never left the ground--hasn't since like 2006.

You're right. Bring on the pigskin.

Power Rankings based on OTAs and mini camps is like picking which chick at the bar has the best naughty bits after you've done about 9 Cuervo shots. You never know you're right until it's either denouement or she's boiling your bunny. Either way, your head still hurts after the smoke clears.

Pretty much this, as the lady said. IF the Rangers manage to stay in the hunt until August, I won't suffer much, but Jaysus H Keerist, I do miss Fubol.

BMoreBeowulf: Glad to see my Ravens getting some love in these rankings, even if they do mean squat at this point in the offseason. If they stay healthy, they should dominate the AFC North this year. Seeing what Flacco can do with Boldin, Mason, Stallworth, Rice, Heap, Dickson, Pitta, and McGahee is gonna make for some exciting TV.

A Cowboys/Ravens SB isn't such a reach. Yea, I like that one. McGahees knees would keep me up at night however.

Below teams like the Raiders and the Chiefs? Really? I'll smoke whatever he is smoking.

/Not saying they are gonna be contenders, but if they at least stay the same as last year they are better than 27

I'll wait until after the all-star break to see if the usual Astros show up. If not...well, then I'll be combing the web for news on LSU and the Saints football.

I saw the headline load and then closed the tab.

After reopening it, I laughed to see that both teams the Jets beat in the playoffs ranked above them.

Yeah, and I'm sure there were teams pre-ranked about the Cardinals last year, despite the Cards outlasting them in the playoffs. So what? Teams change year to year. Some get better, some get worse. High-level repeat performances are uncommon.

The Bengals are going to fall apart this year. All you need is one corner and their passing game falls apart.

The Chargers beat up on an inferior division and get exposed in the playoffs.

/Don't forget, the Jets went 9-7 last year, not 13-3 or something

What passing game? They were in the bottom third in yards, near the bottom in attempts, and in the bottom half or worse in every other stat. Without a defense outperforming its talent, they're a 6-10 team.

I want to be cautiously optimistic about the 9ers. We are returning a lot of the team, have been training well, had a great draft and the coaching staff is improving. We are going to be consistent in the talent we put on the field which will hopefully help with team work. We do have one home game in London, but its against the Broncos so maybe that will be OK. I really really want to see them in the playoffs again so I'm pretty excited, but trying to temper it as they will probably lose in the WC round.

A lot of teams are above the Cards now, but with the next MVP at the helm, and Beanie flying out of the back field I don't see why we aren't ranked number one.

Treygreen13: Overdose: The Cowboys are farking 3rd? That's horseshiat. As long as Romo the Giant Douchebag is their starting QB and fat fark Wade Phillips is their coach, they'll never get deeper into the playoffs than the second round.

As a Skins fan, I might be a little biased, but seriously, 3rd? GTFO.

I would say 26th is a little low for my Skins too, they're good for at least 24th.

You're the first person I've ever heard call Romo a douchebag. What have you seen from him to make you think he's a douchebag?

Pro Bowl left tackle and one of the best better receivers in the AFC are holding out. You probably won't have to hear much about them for long.
