Well, this is good news. Now research where chubby ends and fat begins.

EvilEgg: Well, this is good news. Now research where chubby ends and fat begins.

i've already prepared my body for worship when they blow past chubby and fat and finally land on GODDAMNYOUSBIG.

Subby..... where's the unlikely tag when it's needed most?

Girls don't like fatties unless they've got money.

2010-05-24 04:47:01 PM
Well, obviously. You've never met a chubby dude with sharp knees.

2010-05-24 05:38:40 PM
Sometimes I'm attracted to a chubby man, sometimes I'm attracted to a man with a chubby. *shrugs*

2010-05-24 05:48:13 PM
Does it matter what kind of six-pack? I can see chubby being as good as a six-pack of Heinekin, but not Guinness.

2010-05-24 05:51:52 PM
Yeah, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that women would probably still give a decent-looking guy high marks in relation to another one with flat abs.

But I can tell you this with absolute certainty: those women don't look at a guy take off his shirt, see his big, round belly, and say, "oh my" the way they do when a guy with ripped abs takes off his shirt.

There are dozens of other rules of attraction, but don't pretend that women prefer their men to be out of shape rather than in shape. You can try sellin' it, but I ain't buyin' it.

Rich chubby men are as attractive as men with six-packs and small penises.

2010-05-24 06:13:41 PM
I remember a TF thread about this awhile back: for those who like them a little chunky, we women had a consensus that we like hard fat as opposed to flab. Like, a layer of softness over muscles. Too muscular makes me think he's gay right away, plus he's too obsessed with the gym.

2010-05-24 06:17:29 PM
No.

Just no.

2010-05-24 06:18:11 PM
This is good news. The higher my salary gets, the fatter I seem to be getting.

2010-05-24 06:19:12 PM
So, women don't want a man who has a better body than she does?

2010-05-24 06:19:16 PM
Pecs or GTFO.

2010-05-24 06:19:18 PM
Really? You'd rather go chunky dunkin' than skinny dippin'?

2010-05-24 06:19:20 PM
I have six-pack abs. I have to get about a six-pack into my wife so she doesn't cry when she sees my abs.

Life is too short to count every gram of carb, sodium and protein. If he orders MGD 64 cuz' he's worried about his 6 pack? That's how I know he's ghey a buzz-kill.

2010-05-24 06:28:37 PM
Well that's interesting and all, but I'd still rather not gain weight.

/not that I could if I wanted to, I've been stuck at 62-65kg since I was 17

2010-05-24 06:28:59 PM
I spent time on the Cape last summer, and noticed a large number of couples (35ish-45ish) where the woman was quite fit but the man looked 6+ months pregnant.

It went so against the standard stereotype of the woman chubbing up after the wedding and a couple of kids that it really caught my attention.

I wondered how pervasive this was - is it just couples who vacation in NE?

I dislike the fact that the headline of the article says 'chubby' and the article itself says 'normal' common should not mean normal, and it damn well doesn't mean healthy.

If you are going to act like a Farker, you damn well better have some well defined abs.

It's as though designing ads for gay men doesn't make it more appealing to most people.

Odd, who would have thought?

Or they presented a sickening extreme like a Mr. Universe competition as the example of muscular guys.

As someone who lost 30 pounds over the new year, let me be the first to scream BS. Waaaaaay more offers on the table as a skinny muscular dude than a muscular dude with a gut.

"In fact, the males even found ads that showed just the item - with no accompanying model - more effective than those posed by classic hunks. "

Hmmm... males only care for functionality while females....is that smoke coming from a burning stereotype?
