I have trouble with the whole concept of what is or is not sex. I don't think that there is a simply black and white fine line between not-sex and sex. My general rule of thumb is if your doing something that is beyond what you can do in public I generally consider is sex. Of course this does tend to include some things that most people won't consider sex, like some heavy petting or dry humping, but I guess I'm just old fashioned like that.

But now on the subject of oral sex, I love it. Sometimes more than straight penis/vagina style intercourse. I have a friend who gets needs and I get needs and we just spend a few hours having oral sex, not intercourse though. I don't know which I would say is more intamite or more anything, but that's just how I see it. And I'm the kind of guy who'll go down first just to make sure that everything's done alright. And actually I don't even come all the time and I'm alright with that. Sometimes I think I'm a woman trapped in a man's body. Well a lesbian in a man's body at least.

"At what time did the principal in school say, 'For lunch today, salsbury steak, and oh yeah remember, kids -- BJ's dont count!'

Its oral SEX. It has it in its name! End of discussion!"

bah women don't have to swallow.

Take it into the bathroom and spit it you if you dont' like that taste, just dont' spit it all over me.

Swallow for me is a matter of convience, less clean up. Not a turn on.

When I was in High School (Class of 86) if you could get a girl to touch your dick you were doing good. I had to date a chick for 3 years and be hitting it for 2 and a half before she would go down on me proper. "Time's making changes" like the song says.

Is oral SEX really SEX

why yes, i believe it is.

Nanookanano It seems unfortunate to me that you discount the most influential book in the English language.

On these boards, that would probably be The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

If you're referring to the Bible, I would say it's a sign of intelligence to discount it. There's little or no reliable evidence supporting its accuracy.

Also...
Ladies, watch the teeth. Even a gentle sratching of the teeth can ruin a perfectly good blow job. Really, it should be called a Suck Job. Don't ever try to blow air into the penis. There are some documented cases of this causing an embolism or damaging the bladder.
Men, start by massaging the mound of tissue that rests above the pubic bone. This will draw blood to the area which is necessary for a woman to reach orgasm.
Any questions - email me.

I call on Bill Clinton to remove his briefs... er, I mean, submit an amicus curiae brief as the best-known authority on this particular issue.

flame bible_thumpers = new flame;

Despite the fact that "the most infuential book in the English language" was written in Hebrew, Greek, and Latin.
Know your history. Understanding is an integral part of reading.

I have no problem with "the book" or your religion until you try and tell me how to live my life. All sex without a "permanant, monogamous partner" is not "dangerous and irresponsible." Dangerous and Irresponsible people are dangerous and irresonible. Maybe we should give taking responsibilty for ourselves a try instead of listening to the old man on the mountain as we're too dumb to take care of ourselves.

I mean, you sound like a very smart guy, and i have no problem with you. I have a problem with bible-thumping.

That is all.

I think it's a sign of intelligence to critically regard any text that quotes its protagonist as saying "If they're not against us they're with us" in one chapter and "If they're not with us they're against us" in another. However, Rally Monk, I think it's sheerest folly to ignore the fact that people have been buying and reading this publication for two thousand years.

The next issue of the paper should have some follow-up "adjusted" poll figures showing 0% of all students have had, thought about, or even know what oral sex is. That way kids can keep doing what they want, and these prudish idiots who complain about the article won't even have to put their fingers in their ears and yell "la la la la la." Its win-win.

2003-05-20 01:01:47 AM
I know how the book was written, Jordan. I've taken classes in this stuff. Literature classes, mind you. Are you disputing that it is the single most influential book in the English language? I didn't think so.

2003-05-20 01:02:55 AM

Im not saying that, im just saying it should be taken as what it is... a glorified self-help book.

Maybe if our youth were taught to think for themselves, instead of being taught to do as their told like farkin' sheep, our culture wouldnt be as much on a crash-course with the toilet.

I'm with you on the idea that the text should not be used until you wrinse and wring all the religiousity out of it. That's why I treat it in a strictly scholorly manner as a sociological record, ie: shiat people figured-out a long time ago.

I still maintain that permanant monogamy is the safest and most responsible approach to having a sexual relationship.

2003-05-20 01:14:17 AM
permanant monogamy is indeed the safest and most responsable way.
that does not make everything else irrisponsable and dangerous by definition, does it?

2003-05-20 01:15:25 AM
well the SAFEST and MOST RESPONSIBLE way is abstinance. i sure as hell dont wanna bring a child into this shiat-hole.

2003-05-20 01:16:20 AM
Only relatively so.

Pretty soon we'll have to give prospective mates a package which includes permission for our doctors to communicate with each other.

40% of the students of that high school have had Orel sex? Dear god, lock that man up!

I have a friend who is a virgin (and 27). It's not cause she is fat or ugly and can't get laid. She's actually a very attractive girl. The problem is that she is catholic.

So anyways, doesn't have sex, but bragged to me about her skills with blowjobs (no I didn't get one from her). She won't have intercourse because of moral restrictions set forth by her religion, but she will suck her significant other off. I just don't get it.

2003-05-20 02:17:57 AM
the only reason people think oral is not sex is becasue there is an extra implied word, "intercourse", that should follow it when we are talking about bone-age. i.e. when people talk about "having sex[ual intercouse]" or "we had sex[ual intercourse]."

is oral a sex act? obviously. wangs and boats are involved for christ!

Perhaps people have been buying and reading ONLY because of all the religiosity in it and not because it's an excellent self-help book???

Ladodger34:
It is more common than you might think. Spiritually, your friend is restricted by the church to abstain from intercourse. It's a compromise to accept a sexual act that is not regular intercourse. Psychologically she may feel she is keeping her virginity intact by not allowing vaginal penetration. However, her sexual cravings are evident. She uses oral sex as a way to stick to the rules while trying to get away with something at the same time. From a physiological perspective her vagina has not been penetrated. Oral sex is penetration, just in a different orifice. Unprotected oral sex is just as risky as unprotected vaginal or anal sex. If she were a pure virgin she would not have had the touch of a man. Blow jobs are definitely 'touching' by any standards.

2003-05-20 02:56:47 AM
Arguing about whether or not oral sex is sex is like arguing whether or not cockfighting is animal cruelty. In the end, you're having a good time, and the high school kids are going to keep doing it either way.

2003-05-20 02:58:36 AM
GGracie:

Her take on it is that she isn't stupid and she knows that she has to do that keep a guy happy. To me, while oral sex techinically isn't sex in the true sense of the word (err phrase, whatever), it sort of means the same thing. You are doing it to pleasure someone else in a sexual manner.

I just say fark it, if your gonna go down, you may as well have sex. Of course, Catholics come with all their dogma too (no sex until your married of course and on top of that, no use of birth control), so I understand it a little bit. But in the bigger picture, it's not too much different.

Dammit, didn't post right:

Do you think an article on students' opinion of oral sex is appropriate for a high school newspaper?
Yes. Teens that age are thinking and talking about it anyway.
No. It is not the appropriate forum.

"The people who are least qualified and least experienced were asked their opinions and it was reported, and we gained nothing more than what we could have learned by spending a half-hour in the boy's locker room," Russ Turner told the Daily Press.

Sounds like any other news journal.

Of course it's sex. If you catch your SO giving/getting head, and he/she says "but hon, its not sex!", you gonna say "hmm, you're right dear.."?

I thought not.

2003-05-20 09:05:34 AM
If its not sex then it would be OK for your mother do it for you or even your father maybe uncle Billy. But if you want ever to evolve to higher human existence then questions of trust, loyalty, truth, honor, and friendship come into play. If the president clinton had evolved thus, his personal needs would have not outweighed the needs of all his friends. If any one has noticed his good friend Monica does not have any suitors, no men stepping forward hoping to win her for his wife and mother of his children. Monica may never have a TRUE friend because she put trust in a lower life form that had somehow become the President of the United States. So if its not about sex, if it is acceptable, then just go up and ask your mom to give you one and then to prove you are not homophobic have your dad give you one too.

2003-05-20 09:33:45 AM
One thing this article did not do was break down the 40% by male and female. There could just be a couple of girls blowing alot of guys to get to that number. That would really change around the implications of the survey.

U.S. District Judge Susan Webber Wright ruled that "for the purposes of this deposition, a person engages in 'sexual relations' when the person knowingly engages in or causes contact with the genitalia, anus, groin, breast, inner thigh, or buttocks of any person with an intent to arouse or gratify the sexual desire of any person."

Only lawyers or judges could fark up a wet dream.

It always takes a few years for a presidents legacy to define itself. Clintons seems to be arriving sooner, I hope it doesnt stick, its just embarrassing for a former commander in chief.

Can't believe nobody posted Monica yet. She is the queen of oral sex.

You already know the answer:

Think of someone you know you'd never have sex with. For example Tammy Faye Baker or Michael Jackson.

Would you go down on them?

Didn't think so.

2003-05-20 11:10:22 AM
Try explaining to your wife that you did not have sex with your secretary, she only gave you a hummer, and that's not sex. She won't buy it, She'll divorce you , and take everything you own at best, or she might Bobbit you. Oral sex IS SEX.
