Greetings!
I just found out my car hit the front page of Jalopnik! I would like to thank all the Farkers out there for proving that dreams can come true...even those that put you into a coma!

-1 because you're an attention whore.

+2 because you did it for the beer!!

cool and congrats!

This is one of the rare cases in which a male AW deserves a +1.

That's it! I'm getting a keg cradle for the back of my VW Wagon.

The problem with this car is, much like the iPad, you can only use one function at a time.

Maybe he'll change that in the 2.0 version.

Only way to top this is to build a still in a Toyota.

I read that as "beef-dispensing" and it was still unsurprising.

iPhone OS 4.0 will have multitasking. Should be out within the next few weeks if they stay true to schedule.

//not that I'll be getting a 4G. I'm tired of having to jailbreak the phone to make it MY phone.

Nice, but how long do you have to let it sit after driving it somewhere until you can actually pull off a mug of beer without it being 90% foam?

2010-05-22 06:30:22 AM
Shouldn't this be under the Geek tab?

I got a bag of weed and some papers in my VW.

Thanks for not sanding and rusting your trunk lid.

This is just a perception of mine but most of you farkers are so vehemently against even looking at an empty Coors can in a ditch and driving hours later that if you don't call for immediate execution without trial you are a hypocrite.

kudos, lilbordr. It's good to see that you are living the dream.

Because simulated wood vinyl wrap is so much better.

Great handle. I started a bowling team in the 70s (lasted one season before we got bored with it) named the Mudsharks.

cool! An old friend did this about 10 years ago with a Fiat X1/9. He cut one in half, making the back half a trailer, which stored a keg of homebrew... lol

Best attempt yet at making a Jetta worth a shiat.

2010-05-22 08:34:43 AM
Would that not shake up the keg, leaving the beer foamy and flat?

That wood-grain 'bar' look is damn ugly tho'

No, he's in North Carolina. Their roads are smooth as a baby's bottom.

I prefer to drink my beer off of baby's bottoms, so I see where you're coming from.

I respect ingeniousness and humor. Keep up the great work!

You are the reason I really love this site and the majority of people who regularly post.

I am impressed.

Next up, let's see who can mount a half keg to a moped and come up with a clever name.

Keg in Jetta in NC = meth lab in 91 Corolla in MO.

Hey all. Drew must have spilled beer on the Fark AW filter. I assumed my link wouldn't get green lit and some other more sober/clever farker would get it. The car is actually an 06' GLI. With the current configuration it puts down 255HP and 280Ft-lbs of torque to the wheels (mustang dyno). People keep thinking that I ruined a daily driver. In fact I bought a second trunk lid from a junk yard. It takes about 5 minutes to swap the lids (4 nuts, 2 wires, and the plate). The surface is a wood vinyl I picked up for free from my job with magnetic beer coaster I found on ebay. The beer stays cold and due to me pressurizing the the keg to 40PSI whilst in transport it doesn't foam. I pack the tower with ice to keep the lines cold to prevent foaming. The thing pours like a champ. Here are some more photos which I titled, "Hey look at me! I'm a drunken attention whore".

And to top all my previous AW'ing. Here is a picture of my brewery.

I applaud you, sir. This is hilarious.

you have cars that new in the junkyard?

This at SoWo???? I wanted to go soooooo bad. Sadly, a PS issue does not allow 7 hour road trips.

Nice brewery setup. As a homebrewer myself, I can only say:

I WANT

Story from my dad's college/rugby years:

One of his friend's put a keg in the front of a VW bug ran the hoses into the passenger side of the car. Ran it all off of the spare tire. (These were ruggers, I'm not sure taste mattered much.)

Then again this was the 70s when DUI laws consisted of: "Who's soberest to drive".

Just wait until the "Check Brew" or "EBC" light comes on for no reason whatsoever and you find out you need a new Brew Management Computer to the tune of $1800.

When you pull the tap, does it cause your passenger power seat to move by itself?

/former VW owner, thank you Honda for saving me from that hell.

Me too, but seeing as I'm a disabled spaz, it's gravity feeds, siphon tubes and the missus's kitchen for me.

2010-05-22 11:22:55 AM
Ahh the Ale Camino. I don't see too much of it anymore.

Why Audi wheels?

frizzantik: you have cars that new in the junkyard?

What do you think happens to your car when you total it in a crash?

2010-05-22 01:12:01 PM
I knew a guy once who had a keg in his trunk, and hoses rigged to taps on the dashboard.

He would be driving down the highway, reach into the glovebox and pull a cold draft beer while driving.

Neatest thing I ever saw.
