Ya think? If you see any animal for sale in China it is not being sold as a pet.

In the US, most of the pig faces are Walmart customers

No croc or pig face? Suby has obviously never been to a Food World in North West Florida.

2010-05-21 01:34:07 PM
Aren't all Walmarts Chinese Walmarts? They sell very little that's not made there.

No giant buckets of lead and cadmium?

Has anybody calculated exactly what percentage of the world's endangered species are endangered solely because of Asia's bizarre affinity for animal-based aphrodisiacs, homeopathic cures, etc?

Bear gall bladders, tiger fins, rhino horns, etc, etc, etc.

Seriously, WTF is wrong with these people and why have they been allowed to be wrong for so freaking long with nobody speaking up about it?

I'd be shocked if it was anything less than 60%.

The big problem with going to a Chinese Wal*Mart is that an hour later, you want to go shopping again.

2010-05-21 01:37:27 PM
Tiger BONES and shark FINS.

What's the deal with the orange juice and cooking oil being sold together?

2010-05-21 01:38:18 PM
#6 is dried sausage, otherwise known as lap cheong. It's pretty tasty.

It's not too surprising that Walmart in China sells this stuff. Walmart in Canada sells groceries, and Chinese grocery stores in Canada sell pretty much all this stuff, except the booze.

/The cannibalism was part of rituals. Not for hunger. IE, if you chewed the flesh of a strong enemy, his power would become yours. So I guess that book would fit in in china after all since they eat tigers to enhance their members.

Adjective Bird Whiskey: Store brand liquor. Sweet.

I agree, $0.15 for a small bottle of Wal-mart brand booze? Bring that over to the states!

On a side note, where can I find a chinese version of "People Of Walmart Dot Com"?

Do they have rorback plicing?

Isn't it actually pronounced "Wal-Martses"?

I read this book called Meat is Murder. It's about cannibalism in pop culture. It goes into serial killers that partook, goes into the history of it, and ends with almost every movie ever filmed that's about cannibalism. Hills have Eyes and TCM have their own chapters. Anywho, the book talked about how hundreds of years ago the Chinese use to have restaurants that served people. Apparently, there is a difference in flavor of say an old man vs. a baby. The Chinese are farked up.

95629: Why all the Walmart hate?

Successful companies that profit by driving prices down below what American workers can produce by using Chinese labor are villains are need to be hated. Because Americans are losing jobs to foreign workers!

Unless those companies that profit by driving prices down below what American workers can produce are doing so by using illegal Mexican labor. Then they are saints who are simply providing a better life for the brave migrants who dared to live a better life.

Solution: Wal-Mart needs to use all illegal Mexican labor. They can still produce sub-par goods for a fraction of Union prices but can be praised for doing so!

I wonder if there is a Chinese website similar

1. Coffee machines we made that burn down houses
2. Clothes we made that fall apart after one wash
3. DVD players for 40 dollars that we made for 6
4. Children's toys painted with our surplus lead paint
5. Self-stripping phillips head screws we made with their scrap metal
6. Dead fish floating with the pets.
etc

I hear you. Just IMAGINE the effect on the global ecosystem if one day POOF we didn't have rhinos anymore. It'd lead to the end of the world or something.

So is all the stuff made in the Phillipines, and Chinese yuppies make a big deal out of avoiding Walmart and purchasing only high quality, Chinese made goods from Chinese-owned local businesses?

/ Sorta serious
