Usually your first impression is the correct one.

Who knew that Demi Moore would be making astute observations.

I_Am_Weasel: Who knew that Demi Moore would be making astute observations.

She's no dummy. Even if I do believe she married Bruce Willis for
love, I'm sure that 'love' was only reinforced by him being one of
the most bankable stars around at the time.

Kutcher's douchebaggery aside, is there ANYBODY who thought he and Moore would stay together as long as they have? I won't pretend to know anything about it, but come on, for Hollywood types, they do really, actually seem like they're fairly grounded and "normal"....

2010-05-20 01:16:09 PM
Well, you know what they say: a***oles attract.

2010-05-20 01:20:07 PM
What amuses me is that Moore and Willis both married someone born in 1978 after they split.

2010-05-20 01:20:30 PM
You know what? Good for them!

/ugh, that hurt
//quick, someone give me some snark!

Bleck: What amuses me is that Moore and Willis both married someone born in 1978 after they split.

Hold on a tick ...

*quick calculation*

HEY! I was born in 1978!

That doesn't mean I have to marry either one of them, do I?

I'd imagine she has a huge bush. She seems like the type to have massive wookie-muff.

The cheeky relationship with Bruce just adds to the weirdness factor there.

I'm not surprised. Douchebag usually = emotionally immature. So it's a safe bet that Kutcher responded favorably to a more emotionally settled partner who'll keep him in line, rap his knuckles and refuse to tolerate any crap. Kinda like how some delinquents shape up in military school: there are hard boundaries and clear consequences.

A similar pattern is quite common when there's a marked difference in age between spouses/partners.

ok about this. it has happened to me, and probably to most guys. guys - ask your woman - what did you think about me when you first met me?

the answer is often "I thought you were the biggest jerk." "a real douchebag." "i couldn't stand you."

happens to everyone. and then you get laid.

I was born in 1978 too. I hope I get to choose which one I have to marry. Bruce is funny (or at least his movies are), but Ashton is tall. Hm...

What amazes me most is how cool Bruce Willis was with all this. I've read interviews with him post divorce and he basically said "who am I to get mad or jealous over what she thinks or who she dates? I need to be a good dad now, so that's what I'm trying to be."

I was just assuming so, I didn't think she ever posed nude.
I can't google such things at work, otherwise I'd check it out.

It's funny seeing them all together in pictures. Good on Bruce for acting like an adult.

Well it's certainly pithier than "She who once took a lengthy rancid coiled dump upon 'The Scarlet Letter' and currently has more plastic in her body than Dupont can produce within any given three calendar year period."

I'm in.

Maybe, I don't follow this stuff closely, but what did Ashton do that deserved the "Douchebag" tag? Or is this general hate towards a guy who knew his success was based on his looks and he knew his success was based on his looks.

Please, Princess Bride is the most overrated piece of schlock ever. I know the fanboys all love to spout off the ridiculously corny jokes, but it's really not all that great.

And Allison Kraus is even hairier than Demi.

Well let's just say that my formative years were during the time that centerfolds were of the more hirsute variety. Then again a little vag-scaping can be appealing. So if given the choice would I want a fur ball or razor burn? Sorry, I am going to have to go with neat and trim for me please. Don't get me wrong I would still "french kiss Willie Nelson" as we might have said back in the day...

/I prefer the term Vag-Fro

Basically we are all like that until we meet the right person. That's what dating is. You don't settle down until you meet someone you actually want to be with. The rest is just filler.
