Should have an tag.

No, obvious is correct. Who else would know all the loopholes.

I was just thinking that LordArgent. I don't find it half as shocking these days when people in positions such as that abuse them. They know all the info, and are obviously cocky about it.

Here in town a woman has been fired from overseeing a womens abuse center after she was found to have pilfered over $190,000 over the years. She faces charges now. What kind of person does that?

One who bets the farm on not getting caught, that's who.

farkin' IRS ... IMHO, if you can get away with it, go fer it! Sucks that this dude didn't get away with it.

I think the fact that he filed fake documents may have had something to do with it Red0ct0ber.
Imagine how many people who have avoided filing taxes altogether get away with it each year. This guy went a little overboard.
IMO that's not going to benefit him come sentencing time.

Damned IRS and taxes in general. We would be much better off without them. Downsize DC is working to get them removed.

Lordargent, true..but the fact that it's called the Taxpayers Association gives it at least some irony.

This just in:
Drew Curtis' hard drive found to contain thousands of links that never made it to the Fark main page.
"They'll never read about Johnny Cash's wife," he was quoted as saying.
Apparently the link hoarding began only with Boobies posts, but eventually spread to Weird and Spiffy articles, and any article with proper use of the Ironic tag.
"It's a disgrace" an employee known only as Jeff commented.

Garland Greene: Define irony: a bunch of idiots dancing around on a plane to a song made famous by a band that died in a plane crash.

/con air sucks

Con Air might have sucked, but Steve Buscemi always kicks ass.

this guy kind of reminds me of the old governor of connecticut lowell weicker. lowell instituted the income tax and when his term was over he moved to virginia, a state without income tax.

2003-05-17 11:01:55 PM
yeah but weicker knew what he was doing was going to make him unpopular, but had to be done. he did it anyway, and it saved suck-ass CT for a long while, I'm glad I moved to Boston

Avixxen2, if Virginia has no income tax (or had no income tax after Weicker's stint as governor) can you please tell the State's Dept. of Revenue that so I can get my money back?

Thanks.

this is just sad. finally an article with an ironic headline is posted, yet the ironic tag is missing.
