SHUT YOUR WHORE MOUTH!

El Santo movies had it all. Wrestling. Dancing. Music. Comedy. Drama. Pathos. Tragedy. Horror. They are a shining star to Mexican cinema.

I'm sorry, but unless Tin Tan, Cantinflas, Chespirito, and/or Capulina are involved, it's not really Mexican cinema.

Then you don't understand Luchadores. El Santo was a GOD!

Who saved the world from Martians, Dr. Frankenstein, Karate Experts, and Aztec Mummies, not to mention Vampire Sisters.

El Santo wrestled for our sins!

One might say he had to be funny in the first place to have fallen so far. To be perfectly honest, none of his movies have made me LOL, LMAO, LMFA, or ROFL. But I still have a great deal of respect for him.

You must be young. El Santo, Blue Demon and Mil Mascaras made tons of movies. And they always wore their masks the entire movie. Blue Demon never too his mask off in public. Ever. They would always fight some bad guy du jour and, at the end usually, they squared off against their nemesis in the ring. Didn't matter if they were fighting mummies, wolfmen/wolfwomen, vampires, Frankenstein's Monster or just your average mad scientist. They also fought against the mafia and other normal baddies.

If you haven't ever seen one of their movies, you don't know what you're missing.

Yeah, it's definately before my time. But i'm a sucker for old movies and shows, so i'll probably waste some of my free time on this now.

I just happened to get lucky submitting wrestling links this weekend. But the Shockmaster is what got me to thinking about El Santo again. I used to watch those movies on TV when I was little.

That's because the Zucker brothers (Top Secret!, Airplane!, et cetera) are also the producers for the "--- Movie" series.

/Personally - I've laughed at all of them. However, Date Movie wins the entire thing. It was the shining star in a sea of above mediocrity.
