I think you make a good point, with the exception of Gospel music. And my dirty mind just had a field day with the thoughts of "Christian butter" and the recent Catholic sex scandals, so thanks for that!

Kreator is kind of meh for me. I've always enjoyed their cover art though.

Last Sunday night was pretty awesome. Eluveitie was pretty cool but Amon Amarth stole the spotlight as usual. They actually played a lot of material off of their latest album, which I don't really enjoy, but that stuff was much better live than it is on the CD.

I was the sober driver but my two friends were stark raving retarded drunk. After the show I met the frontman from Eluveitie and my two friends proceeded to buy drink after drink after drink with him. He's actually a pretty cool guy and despite people saying Eluveitie is getting too "poppy", he seemed very down to Earth and genuinely passionate about his music and beliefs. We hung out with him for 2 and half hours. All the while my two friends are practically falling all over the place and annoying some of the other patrons. They had an awesome time though, so it was definitely worth it. After talking with him at length I definitely have more of an appreciation for his music than I did.
