He's been a lifelong diabetic-but w/a hemorrhage on his brainstem i kinda doubt he'd be able to talk...since the stem covers ALL the critical unconscious body activities it sounds pretty dire

As for cool stories i recall Paul Kantner from "Jefferson Airplane" was in a motorcycle accident as a teenager that left a hole in his skull-when he had HIS cerebral hemorrhage it allowed the pressure to escape w/o damage...ironically, saving his life
