I've noticed that too, especially in the south. MLK Jr Drive is ALWAYS in the hood, or leads to the hood from downtown.

Seriously, I don't own guns, but I have plenty of friends who do. Many of them conceal carry because they own their own business and carry fairly large amounts of cash.

And this being Houston (my hometown) I don't understand why any criminal would test the Castle Doctrine like they do.

The citizen who shot the criminal will probably either not be charged in any way shape or form, or it will go before a grand jury and get thrown out.

I think the failure of many anti-drug education programs is due to treating all drugs equally. When you lump in cigarettes, alcohol, marijuana, and caffeine with heroin, meth, and PCP, kids figure you're completely full of crap.

The real truth is that a lot of the stuff they said in DARE is lies, except about PCP. Pretty much every bad thing you have ever heard about drugs is true about PCP.

That stuff is BAD for you...
