I've been to Hannibal a few times, since it's not that far from St. Louis, but not in the last decade. Heck, as I get older, travel and vacations are more and more rare.

I used to live in Hannibal as a kid... yeah, they take that stuff pretty seriously.

(not the same place. Quarry Farm and the Mark Twain Study(at Elmira College) are big tourist destinations during the Finger Lakes wine tour season.

I think they had to have an emergency fundraiser in Hartford to keep the Twain House open... unfortunately, since it is in Hartford, it is by default in a sketchy area that people don't want to visit.
