2003-05-06 09:37:29 AM
and your body...

2003-05-06 09:38:21 AM
Someone spent the time to pass a law concerning that?

2003-05-06 09:38:35 AM
"Yager took his animals home, after only two got the soapy treatment."

That makes it sound a whole lot more ungood.

I live so close to my local car wash I can walk to it!

-I'm lucky!

2003-05-06 09:39:17 AM
Silly, he should have taken it to the horsewash!

2003-05-06 09:40:02 AM
You can lead a horse to the carwash, but you can't wash and wax him?

2003-05-06 09:40:05 AM
Man, slow news day huh?

2003-05-06 09:42:22 AM
we are very lucky to live in a country where the government has the time to make all these laws for us to live by. You cant get this in backward countrys.....next up they are working on how each of us will have to fold our toilet paper. it is very difficult but given enough time and money they will be able to tell us exactly how to fold it ....legaly

What a Horses Ass!!!

/got nuthin'

My friend used to wash his truck at the car wash, and he would put his two dogs, both large Chow-Chows, in the back, and wash them as well. No one ever told him not too, because the Chows were mean motherfarkers, even in the back of a truck.

What a dumbass! He should've just put his horse in the bed of his pickup and drove through. That's how most families in Nebraska get baths anyway.

Penrod we won't truly live in the greatest country on earth till the legislature gets off its collective ass, and legislates exactly how many licks it takes to get to the tootsie roll center of a tootsie pop.

2003-05-06 09:46:27 AM
Mr. Rogers: "I'd get all soapy... you know, soap suds all over me...then my grandfather would take this hose and squirt all over me till the suds--"

Some Guy: "So you were playing?"

Mr. Rogers: "Yeah, me and my grandfather played a lot..."

Penrod

I don't care how you fold it, but dammit put it on the roll so it feeds underhand.

2003-05-06 09:48:57 AM
nah. there aren't dumb laws on the books. Not at all. I could see it if it was the carwash OWNER who said stop, but animal control?? dumb

2003-05-06 09:49:37 AM
Bark_atda_moon underhand? UNDERHAND!!?? Only sinners have toilet paper that unrolls underhand, the proper way is over the top.

I think we need an Amish perspective on this. Any Amish out there..?

2003-05-06 09:54:17 AM
What's illegal is not the actual washing; it's that you have to undress the horse in public.

2003-05-06 09:54:49 AM
NickTheShouk:- Unfortunately not - their internet is made of wood.

2003-05-06 09:56:35 AM
Bass55 true but that was hardly scientific though. Obviously a project of this size and magnitude will call for millions of dollars in experimentation. Besides who would you trust science, or a nocturnal predator who inexplicably eats tootsie pops?

2003-05-06 09:58:28 AM
Honk but still, I see no legislation.

2003-05-06 09:58:45 AM
How do you get the horses into neutral? Cut their balls off?

2003-05-06 10:00:04 AM
Honk,

I think it's in the Psi Upsilon Sigma sorority house...

Thales

Only sinners have toilet paper that unrolls underhand

The sinners are much more fun... Only the good like overhand toilet paper (they also die young)

The owl is a true disinterested third party and should give back less biased results

Thales: Are you saying it's wrong to ignore the utterings of the sacred bird of Athena?

Next, you'll be telling me not sacrifice to Huitzilopochtli, whose name means "Blue Hummingbird on the Left,"

This should have had and OBVIOUS tag. The guy was from NEBRASKA - of COURSE he took this horse through the car wash - damn horse was dirty for Cris' sakes!

2003-05-06 10:05:48 AM
You should consider that this is from the same state that outlaws whale fishing - Nebraska?!

They do a great job on the old Weber grill, just make sure the owner is not around.

So um... Is it illegal for me to take my kids down and spray them off once a week?

Dang, little Jenny is gonna be so upset.

Only when it comes to the field of lollipop licking. After all would you trust a sacred bull to tell you where the best steak house is?

2003-05-06 10:10:13 AM
"...or it gets the hose again..."

2003-05-06 10:10:51 AM
You also cant urinate in a car wash. Anyway thats what the nice officer told me when I got pinched for public intox at the age of 14.

2003-05-06 10:11:16 AM
Awwwwww... animal control is no fun. The guy said his horses prefered the car wash. Now he'll be forced to wash them with the cold water they don't like.

Believe me, back when I used to do dressage, horses do not like having cold water poured on them (unless it was really hot). Pretty hard to get them ready for an event when the keep walking away from the water. I wish I had thought of this.

I'm quite certain it's illegal to do this for sanitation reasons -- that being said, I think it's stupid and have seen people take stranger items to the carwash.

2003-05-06 10:24:20 AM
Geez, they won't let you do nothin' around here anymore.

2003-05-06 10:24:42 AM
WELL FARKING DUH!!! How youl you like to be hosed down by some hotwax and get....your ...buffed. and rubbed down with shinny.....what was i talking about again?

2003-05-06 10:27:41 AM
you did dressage, LexiLuthor? ummm maybe the horses walked away cause you didn't cross-tie them?

/taught by a really anal riding instructor.

actually i can't see that car wash fluids and such would be a good thing for an animal. especially if you get any in their eyes by mistake. water can be heated by leaving it out in the sun. anyone ever reach for a hose wanting cold water and getting hot because the hose was sitting in the sun for a few hours?

2003-05-06 10:31:32 AM
Avixxen2: I sucked at it, but I did for a couple of years. My riding school was very very odd, I think, because my cousin did it too and they were much stricter at her school. Possible explaination for why I sucked at it.

I prefer watching now. Horses are so pretty.

So, if I understand your logic correctly, owls are made out of lollipops?

/me gets the scale and assorted small pebbles...
