I was tripping in Morro Bay and a stupid clown jumped out of a doorway. Nearest I can figure he was there to try to bring people into a bookstore. I pooped a little, in my pants.

Heh. My brother and cousin always tell me the story of growing up in Haiti and one of their favorites is how adults get kids to stop peeing in the bed. There was a scary looking guy in the neighborhood who was black as midnight and had messed up teeth, and dirty ragged clothes. If a parent found that their kid peed in the bed, they'd get the guy to come over that night and scare the living shiat out kid. He'd barge into the house chasing the kid around the house and around the whole neighborhood eventually picking 'em up, shaking him and yelling at the kid not to pee the bed.

Of course I don't know how scaring a kid shiatless makes him not pee the bed but in oral tradition its best not to ask questions and enjoy the story.

Imagine the amount of psychological damage the clown could do if he had NOTHING else to do than plan to scare the sh*t out of a kid. I'd put a lot of effort in and aim high to put him in into a psych ward. I'd ask the parents to allow me to hide in their closet and sneak into his bedroom every night to smear chicken blood in clever ways. I'd leave notes telling him that "the rules have changed". I'd proceed to fill him on his parents' original plans and print out the deepest, foulest, and most horrifying pictures from the bowels of 4chan and hide them where he's sure to see them.

I'll get him with the pie while he's in a catatonic state! yeaaaaah.

You know what? That picture never ceases to astonish me. How parents could not look at that guy in his outfit and instantly assume he might be a child raping murderer is beyond me.

I really, truly don't like to judge people on their looks, but goddamn... there are limits.

I have to admit, I was a little disappointed by the guy's clown getup. Since he's doing it as a job, I figured that he'd put a little more effort into it.
