I'm gonna sleep for the next 5 years, wake me up when there are little mini computers this size that have fulltime internet and satphone capabilities as well as GPS.

Dear Stupid headline writer:

It should be "laser more cute", and even that should be "more cute laser." You see, in America, and most other places that speak the Ye Olde Queen'se Englishe (if you put "e"s after every word, then you alsoe doth speak in the tongue of ye olde queen), the adjective goes afore the noune, not the word unafore.

Secondly, "Garotting" should be spelt "carroting."

Tertiarily, "carroting" is best done with a wire, not a string.

Thank you,
-tfd.

maybe the people like me who don't even have cell phones yet will side-step some freak disorder that makes all the radiation caused by next wave of super techy phones make people's heads explode. and then we'll rule the world.

Theflyingdutchman you might want to check what "carroting" is. I would assume it's using an orange vegetable for self pleasure...not a feature I want in a watch.

Garroting, OTOH, is something I'm into...

This is in Japan, where people live closer together, so the cells are closer together. Which means their antennas can be smaller, and the phone itself can use less power(hence use smaller batteries).

I slightly doubt a *working* phone that small will be in the US any time soon.

C'mon, they're building cell phone towers on top of cell phone towers now. It'll happen soon.

It can withstand sweat, rain or splashes of water from washing, NTT DoCoMo Inc., Japan's leading mobile phone company, said Thursday.

Strapped to the wirst of your typical Japanese, it had better to be able to with stand a few other bodily emissions as well.

Wrist-phones with tv and email, a comic shop on every corner, giant robots to protect your city, mechanized army exoskeletons, and daily kaiju attacks?

I want to live in Japan.
