Why would strangling the duck make the meat softer? You figure strangling would take longer than simply slitting their throats, allowing for more time to struggle.

Since the one from the legend was suffocated, wouldn't it make sense for them to keep with that tradition? At what point did they decide that strangulation was a better way to kill the duck than, say, putting it in a garage with a car running?

French strangle their one millionth duck just so that the duck is "more succulent". PETA is cool with that.

Students in school actually drink milk, from cows. PETA is jihading the schools as we speak.

Now, I hate PETA as much as everyone else, but you'd think they'd at least get their damn priorities straight.
