Flowers is the company that makes Olive Garden's breadsticks in Georgia (I worked for OG for 6 years in Augusta). Soup and salad anyone?

It was probably just cheaper than bubble wrap. Have you priced that shiat lately? In California you could probably get cheaper ditch weed by volume.

Well... hundreds of pounds? That's some mad cash, who needs to work? Just kidding, honest. But yes, I am condoning the sale and use of an illegal substance.

One of two things happened:

1) Truck Driver went to the wrong address.
2) Truck Driver came on the wrong day and who he was supposed to meet was off work.

Either way, there will be a dead body in Cobb County in the next couple of weeks.

I imagine this shipment was meant for someone else, and given the amount, that someone else would be very energetic in retrieving his or her supply. Handing it over to the cops sounds like a safer choice than keeping it.

This is just up the road from me. When I read the original headline on the AJC site, I knew it had to be the one by me. I haven't been to the store yet. Now, I don't know if I should.

Most warehouses have more than 1 dock, so a broken dock wouldn't screw up being able to receive stuff.

On the other hand, I'm not so sure that handing it over to the cops is safer. Maybe hold on to it, and if someone contacts you about it, ask for a modest finder's fee. If you hand it over the cops, it's just as gone as if you sold it yourself. Depending on the suppliers involved, you could end up just as dead.

There's a decent chance of this.

Regardless of schedule - maybe it was packaged wrong, or they got tipped off about an intercept.

I bet the suppliers know how much they shipped. If the reported seizure was less than the shipment, you don't think they'd come after your ass anyway? Or at least tip the cops that you have some?

Man, Farkers aren't very good at crime.

Umm, the amount mentioned in the article is:

Police estimated the marijuana to be in the hundreds of pounds.

They're not giving an exact amount. They do this for a reason in cases like this. Maybe they figured out what you did?

2010-03-28 11:28:10 PM
it says 600lbs in the article..
