The food coupons are Nazi documents that belonged to Nazi doctors. TFA headline is 100 percent correct. The vast majority of Nazi documents dealt with the minutiae of daily Nazi life. There are very few death camp oven instruction manuals lying around.

Some sugar coupons bear the names of Horst Fischer and Fritz Klein, doctors who were executed for their crimes after the war, Adam Cyra, a historian at the Ausch witz memorial museum who is looking through the documents, said Monday.

Wow. I would embrace the systematic destruction of that sentence

One of the things that the Allies did to help destabilise the German economy in WW2 was to drop hnudreds of thousands of forged food ration couplon books.

Also dropped matchbooks and cigarette papers with insrtuctions printed on them on how to dodge military service by faking illness.

Oh, and the infamous Himmler stamps--these were sent on envelopes from neutral countries into Germany, suggesting that Himmler was planning a coup against Hitler, and someone mistakenly used the new stamps early. 'Cause the first thing you do when planning a coup is design and print new postage stamps.

Woody Allen did it.

But I'm playing it again, Sam:

Hitler's Laundry list:

3 white shirts, French cuffs
5 Brownshirts
1 coloured shirt to serve the white shirts
1 pair of Jodphurs, army brown
3 pair of trousers

10 pair dress knee socks, black
10 pair knee socks, white
10 pair knee socks, silk, black
10 pair underwear
1 sexy red lingerie (hand launder)
5 girdles
12 pairs American Nylon(TM) hosery
hiking leiderhosen? remember to remove cyanide capsules from pockets

Remember to harangue Chinaman about asking for a ticket last time (3 hours, minimum)

From this list we learn much about Hitler's state of mind in the weeks leading up to the Fall of the Third Reich. Despite being increasingly desperate, he was still paying attention to detail. A lesser Feuhrer might not have specified how long to harangue the Chinese laundry man, or would not have bother to note "1" red sexy lingerie or might have made the fatal mistake of not specifying that the delicate item was to be handwashed.

Food coupons for some notorious Nazi doctors at the Auschwitz death camp have been found in the attic of a nearby house, along with other documents relating to the lives of Nazi officials.

Some sugar coupons bear the names of Horst Fischer and Fritz Klein, doctors who were executed for their crimes after the war

Wouldn't that have sucked to find that these "other documents" would have acquitted these two, maybe showed they where just doctors for the Nazi solders and nothing to the prisoners.
