I hope the Freepbaggers turn violent and the secret police haul them all off to the Fema camps to face the death panels.

I had forty new messages on Facebook this morning from friends who were still giving me shiat about cheering on Kansas instead of UNI; something about rooting against my alma mater.

The health care lobbyists just want to see this thing over with. They're getting hernias from the suitcases full of cash they have to lug around.

So I heard 2:30 was the actual vote start time (at the earliest)?

If so, good. Because I won't be back until the afternoon, and there is no TFark mobile *shakes fist at Drew*

2:06 or so to meet the 72 hour thing exactly. But I bet 2:30.

It's nearly nine AM. Congresspersons are probably just now finishing up with their morning meth and blow jobs.

Yeah really, why no TF Mobile? What year is this?

It will be nice to get this signed into law. The whole news narrative will have to change once the Dems show that they still have all the power. A lot of people staked their political careers on blocking this legislation, and that bill is coming due...

yeah when it turns out granny doesn't get the plug pulled on her, that small businesses get big breaks for their health care expenses, parents find their kids can stay on their plans through college and people with pre-existing conditions can get coverage then it might just become a popular thing just like medicare did. that's why the GOP wants to kill it.

SchlingFocker: Who wants to lay down odds that this thread will have more informative, substantive discussion than anything coming out of Congress today??

That's probably true enough.

The Republicans are going to be positively livid that the Democrats are ramming healthcare through simply by virtue of being in the majority.
