Bachelor's degree in psychology is about as useful as one in English. Except the English major can probably write better.

It's good to be able to understand how other people tick--social psychology, for instance, I think is fascinating. And just admit it, a lot of people could benefit from therapy. Being a good therapist is hard farking work. It might not be science, but it's draining and difficult.

Luckily, a lot of the time we can work our shiat out with good friends, the ones who really listen to us. But not always. if you have life-long issues about one thing or another, if things just keep going wrong, you need some help. You aren't figuring it out on your own.

the people who say that they are totally fine, there's nothing wrong with them, and they'd never talk to a shrink or somebody--that's usually a red flag that there's a whole farking lot wrong with them.

Finally clicked into TFA... Holy FARK - I DATED this crazy biatch once. No shiat.

I realized she was a total nutter when she started telling me about the "Chalice Well Water" she was "working" with, that was basically just colored oil floated on top of reddish water - obviously, a high ferrous content. Supposedly, it was magical water from the chalice well in England. Different colors healed different things. Just passing your hands over the vials apparently did it. She went into a little detail about how you couldn't disturb the vials, because that would throw off the "healing vibrations" - variations in the vibrations could be seen from the fact that the two colors of "water" would swirl about but not mix.
