Watt is wrong with you, subby? This headline will most certainly polarize the Fark community.

Toshiro Mifune's Letter Opener: BE KING FARADAY

You'll be shocked to learn that made me shoot beer out my nose, you bastard!

Well, I did that in a completely roundabout kinda way.

Totally circuitous.

I didn't know you had the capacitance.

Unfortunately, he has such a negative attitude.

His logic seems to be grounded.

*shrugs humbly*

Ohm just trying to defy expectations.

The frequency of puns is a real impedance to the thread.

This thread has potential.

AC come, DC go...

2010-03-18 03:23:44 AM
Of course, in this nanny state we live in, he's probably going to be charged with being a resistor to Ohms law.

NeedleGuy: AC come, DC go...

Well that's a transforming statement, if I ever heard one...

Shocking?

No matter how witty the current headline, there will always be some resistance.

Well, everyone here seems to be on the same wavelength about this. Some poor zap diode, and you're all crackling jokes about it.

Did anybody notice that his first name was MAX? I wonder if his middle name was Power.

Started with PG&E, ended with P=VI.

Resistance is futile.

It's sad to see a life cut short.

Watt a revolting development. He must not have been well grounded in the basics of electrical theory.

/all seriousness aside, I had some good advice from a EE 30+ years ago: always work with one hand in your pocket. You might get bitten, but the current won't flow from one hand to the other-through your heart.
//once got hold of 380V
///it was exciting

2010-03-18 07:36:00 AM
Is this a positive or a negative?

Not enough, in this poor sap's case. Another 50Ω or so and he might still be with us today.

/sweaty hands kill.

Subby's headline is still better. It doesn't really need fixing.

I don't see watt the big deal is......it has kilowatt of people the same way before

One might say he had an 'interesting' occupation.

2010-03-18 07:57:07 AM
I chuckled at the headline and the first few comments. My girlfriend made me explain to her what I was laughing at.

She the proceeded to get really upset and call up all "Sick" and "Perverted"

I love fark

Shame. He was working on his pièce de résistance

I once saw an electrician trying to find an open 220 circuit in an electrical panel. He wet the tip of his finger and started touching the wires/fuses in the panel. He did a little body shimmy every time he found a 110 circuit. Let a loud "AAARRRGGHHH!" when he found the 220!

Best FARK headline in a loooong time. Bravo, subby.
