"I've surfed with a dog, a parrot, a hamster and a cat, but when I was at a competition in Australia I saw people surfing with kangaroos and koalas," said Mr Pianezzi, who trains the alpaca in the Peruvian beach town of San Bartolo.

I highly highly doubt that someone has surfed with a Kangaroo.... they are vicious bastards when scared.

Heh, just checked an old Myspace page I made a long time ago. One of my wife's friends was trying to get me to make my own page. One of the things she said to entice me was I don't have to tell the truth on everything since lots of people lie on their pages. I kind of took it to a new level.

About me:
I'm not meteorite. I'm his little brother. Our family asked me to update this page for all of his friends that are wanting information on him.
meteorite passed away April 10, 2006 in the Jzlac Mountains in a freak alpaca racing accident. He had moved there 2 years ago to help build village wells. While there he fell in love with all the various aspects of alpaca racing; owning them, breeding them, training them, and racing them. In those two short years he had become one of the premier jockeys in the country and was starting to have political ambitions. Last time I talked to him there was talk of him becoming one of the first outsiders to be made a village elder. While one of his wives wasn't too crazy about it the others were supportive and he was seriously considering it.
We'll all miss meteorite. Whether it be his love of oatmeal, his laugh, his skill with the alpacas, we've all been touched by his life and will miss him greatly. His body will be cremated and ashes, as dictated by local custom, spread along the Caeilk river.
p.s. Check out the pictures section to see some of meteorite's amazing alpacas.

BlueBox: I'm no longer surprised by what guys with tiny dicks will put their animals through to attention whore. I think the SAD tag would have been better.

So much this. I've seen video of this guy forcing a cat to surf. He's an arsehole of the highest order. What a loser. This is animal abuse. I've written letters of complaint to the Peruvian SPCA about him before. Looks like I've got another letter to write.

belhade: I'd imagine getting the life vest on the hardest part...

Do you think the alpaca into that life vest is like a dog getting into the car for an outing, or a dog getting into the car to go to the vet?

My guess is that the alpaca probably isn't that keen on the vest until it gets into the water.

Surfing Kangaroo, sorta (pops) and there's an ad before the video, sorry

Alpacas aren't exactly aquatic creatures. If he was doing this with a dog I could understand, but this just seems unneccessarily cruel to me.

That alpaca can water ski...

2010-03-17 10:47:22 AM
The alpaca tries to stand up and falls off the board. Until then it's just confused. He couldn't do this with a llama because you can't pick them up and carry them around. I bet he can't get any girls to come surfing with him either.
