Plaintiff's firm? Check.

Personal injury? Oh yes.

Practice areas? Auto accidents, premise liability, worksite injuries, motorcycle accidents, wrongful death, and dog bites.

Classy!

LeafyGreens: premise liability

Is this the area of law that centers on the plausibility and factual basis of jokes, works of fiction, and arguments?

Then again, consider that I still get email from people who think Ninja Burger is real.

Why the Fark are Judges deciding what their succubus bretheren are allowed to use as advertisements? Wouldn't this be a conflict of interest? It would be like letting Burger King decide the fast food rules. But worse because you know going in BK would only worry about themselves....WAIT! Nope..no difference.

Incubus brethren. Brethren would be Incubi. Succubi are female.

And, no. It'd be a conflict if the judge were affiliated with the firm but otherwise the judge is unbiased.

Besides, most of the rules attorneys follow are rules from the ABA or state bar associations. We police ourselves.

Who ARE the venusian 7? We have a right to know what kind of lawyers would represent aliens instead of their own human brethren!
The Geneva convention doesn't even apply to proto-cephalopods. If we can't get the information we need to by sprinkling salt on their tails, none of us, NONE OF US, are safe.

I'm sure what you know about regulation of the practice of law could fill the Grand Canyon.

If you can show me any profession that is nearly as self-regulated as the legal profession, please feel free to do so.

Judges hate lawyer more than you do.
Go ahead, go to court and call the Judge a lawyer and see what happens.

HA! I knew it. I wonder what the comparisons are between the rates of lawyer disbarments to physician license revocation from state to state are.

Can't find concrete data, but a GIS of each term brings up;

1,160,000 results for physician license revoked
1,270,000 results for Lawyer disbarred

And about as successfully as the police are at that.

\1% of lawyers give the other 99% a good name.

Do physicians have to submit to and pass "character and fitness" evaluations before being licensed to practice medicine?

No, it's pretty much a given that your character and fitness is fine if you entered a challenging profession.

Shostie: Good. Now my class-action lawsuit against the Xgyyrgians of Rigel XI can proceed.

I wish you the best with it. You do know that the Xgyyrgians usually grab the first attorneys to ooze out of the Rigellian lawyer pits before they've even sloughed off their first swamp skin.
