Waffle.

2010-03-16 12:05:48 PM
but can he stay off that 19th hole?

2010-03-16 12:05:51 PM
You had it right the first time, subby.

2010-03-16 12:06:04 PM
Nice subby. Lets get our parting shots in, as this whole thing will probably blow over once he dominates the masters. If he does win the masters, would that alone not solidify him as the greatest golfer ever? I mean, he already is pretty much, and coming back from what can be considered one of the biggest distractions an athlete can face, to win would be epic.

Took a whole bunch of stupid to make golf interesting, and Mr. Woods is just the guy to do it.

Good. This whole thing was ludicrous anyway. I don't care about his personal life, I care about watching the best golfer in the world play golf.

Considering how the last few months have been for him, I bet that the most relaxing thing he could do right now is play at the Masters. I fully expect him to win handily just because it offers him a blissful escape from real life.

2010-03-16 12:08:59 PM
no way he wins

2010-03-16 12:10:30 PM
It wont happen at the Masters, but future tournys will bring out some amazing heckling. Going to be fun to see him snap.

2010-03-16 12:10:43 PM
And the PGA tour and Players breathe a sigh of relief as that which has broght them millions returns to bring them even more millions.

Also - blond nubile women 19 - 29 seen flocking to Augusta

GET IN THE HOLE!!!

/You da man, Tiger

2010-03-16 12:11:15 PM
Pretty damn smart to come back at the Masters. Controlled crowd (not a lot of obnoxious fans) and I have a feeling the media will be well behaved when it comes to asking Tiger questions.

/wishes Jesper were in the Masters so he could be in a group with Tiger

But after the Masters he'll still celebrate by banging some random hottie, right?

Tiger is the greatest athlete ever. Really? Golf is on par (sorry) with bowling and darts. No doubt Tiger is amazing at golf and it is a very difficult skill to master. But it is hardly athletic.

The reason it is so popular is because no matter how bad of shape you are, you can go out on the weekend, drink beer, and play the same game Tiger is playing and pat yourself on the back. It makes those reliving glory days or those that never had them feel like they are still athletic and active. Lot harder to go out on the weekend and play some basketball full court or football and be out of shape and drinking beer while doing it.

Golf is fun to play and a very difficult to be good at . . . but athletic or a real sport? Don't think so.

2010-03-16 12:13:22 PM
The Masters is a good place for him to come back.

The Masters guys will ban a reporter for life (see Gary McCord) if the fark too much with Tiger.

Broktun

Yeah I know, sadly I'm saddled with the knowledge that Tiger is closer to the rule than the exception and can't pretend to care.

Athletes cheat on their wives and fark easy women all the time. Whoop-dee-damn-doo.

A bum knee is a physical ailment, not mental...he's got a shiat-ton of stress, not to mention he's probably got to re-think his game..

Pre-2010 thought process: "i sink this putt, and I can go nail a couple chicks"

2010-? thought process: "I sink this putt, and I can go nail a co..fark ME!"

Agreed. The whole thing is odd as hell. You take your hollywood movies and tv shows - just about all of them are led by documented serial philanderers and we either haven't heard about it or don't care. Jack Nicholson for example - he's had more tail (in and out of wedlock) than a toilet seat at an airport. No one thinks a thing of it. And frankly that's how it ought to be. And before anyone brings up the role model thing or endorsements - fark off. He gets paid to endorse things because he moves product, nothing more and nothing less.

So real sports don't involve alcohol ever huh? You must not be very familiar with rugby then. Here's a hint: try playing full contact football with no pads and no rules - while drunk.

All of his marital distractions would make it hard to win, if one wasn't some kind of automaton sociopath.

/good news, Tiger.

Damn straight. And what's all this talk about soccer being a sport? I mean, they have leagues for kids, and everyone knows that if it's a game that a kid could play, it can't be a sport!

Did they keep whore bangin records back in day? I am guessing Arnie's Army had a couple of pleasure girls in the ranks.

Not sure about Jack, though he did win the Masters when he was 46, so that's something

Tiger still has a long way to go to reach Wilt Chamberlain's record, though.

You don't have to be an athlete to play the game, but you have to be pretty athletic to play at the PGA level. Sure there are a couple fatties out there on tour, but some extra weight alone doesn't make one non-athletic. See: sumo wrestlers.

Don't you mean Wilt's record?

Hurray for purity tests! Lets just cut to the chase and declare that American hand-egg and basketball are the only 'real' sports.

Once Tiger breaks Jack's record for total majors (which he will), his status as the best to ever play the game will be pretty much undisputable.

Yes, but has he beaten Long Dong Silver's record?
Those holes must be sticky.
